I almost didn't listen, I thought it was going to be the same thing I've heard over and over again... Thank you Pastor Jonathan for more confirmation, second time this week; even the Scriptures. If you read the comments, I am 68, never been married. God already answered my prayer three years ago when I met this carbon copy of myself. He's a widower with a teenage daughter (that's another story); we became very close through friendship; have never kissed or anything else physically. Hurricane Ian happened and we've stopped talking on a daily basis; we would talk sometimes up to three hours - I'm semi-retired. He's an accomplished musician/teacher; I have discussed with him regarding ministry together. Every time we've been together in public people presume that we are together, even married. God has really done work in both of us. I have been patient and will continue to be because of the promise He has given to me... Your words really ministered to my heart...

Agreeing 100% with everything except the comment about being too busy to write a letter of recommendation. If a pastor is not willing to write a letter of rec for a member of his church bc he is too busy, he may want to reevaluate his priorities. Tending to his folk should be a top priority.
