Knife run speed and other weapons run speed in kf2 are exactly the same, the only thing that slows you down are carry weight and low hp. So just sprint with whatever you have in hands.

- Parrying isnt that hard, you just press block when the attacks about to land, parry also blocks all attacks around you so you can be running forwards and parry an attack from behind -also you can spam parry like you can spam any other melee attack by pressing R to cancel the block/attack and then you can cancel out of the idle clean animation by pressing attack/block. - Idk how someone wouldnt know about the M16's alt fire - the whole selling point of the weapon is the M203, same with other alt fires. - You can skip all sorts of animations, as soon as the action has done what you want it too you can start doing something else. The other big animation skip is reload cancelling, while reloading hold M1 to fire and tap bash when the magazine refills the bash will cancel the reload and firing will cancel the bash making you instantly fire your gun. Depending on the weapons this can speed up reload time by some 20-50%. - ammo packs despawn when waves start and new ones spawn so its worth grabbing them in trader time or if you want another to stand where a spawn is at the start of the wave to pick it up before going back to the hold spot. - you can also overcap your weapons ammo at the trader by changing to ammo perks and then buying the bullets, dropping your guns and changing back - easy way to carry 20% more ammo. - Scrakes are resistant to explosives - but are uniquely weak to the RPG's direct impact taking 4x the impact damage (whether it explodes or not) thats why it 1 taps to the head while the M32 needs like 5 duds to the head. - Nightvision is a vestigial feature from 2016. Flashlights were only on a few weapons so classes without them like commando or zerker had a perk for night vision to make up for it. You also forgot to say to hold F to use it. - already mentioned reload cancelling. - running with the knife doesnt change your move speed unless you are survivalist with the melee move speed skill. You can also sprint in all directions and base sprint speed is enough to escape every attack in the game apart from the crit attack from a raged FP even on the slowest perk HOWEVER filling your weight capacity slows you down and so does losing HP if you are 15/15 weight and under 40hp then you are in danger as you cant out run rages scrakes anymore. The main reason to with the knife out to parry. - pick what fits the team rather than whats missing, imo the most important is commando if there isnt one, zed time extensions are just so powerful (and commando is an amazing combat medic), next is medic and after that you pick either precision (sharpshooter/gunslinger/SWAT) or chaos perks (zerk/firebug/demo) based on what the team is already using support is great as hes a generalist and fits into both team comps well. - bash stumbles large zeds like scrakes and calm flashpounds - stumbling zeds die instantly they dont get decapped which is useful on lower waves where you can bash decap gorefiends or even bloats so they dont block your LoS. - Off perk weapons dont gain any bonuses from your passive stats or perk bonuses while onperk and cross perk weapons do benefit, so you want to stick to these and its really easy to do so as they're all under your perk weapons in the trader. Definitely recommend practicing what you're going to say or having a short script to stay on track theres a fair bit of waffle and these tips could basically have been condensed to 1 or 3 lines taking 15-45 seconds to speak as some points either lacked info or waffled on a bit.

Thanks for the feedback. The reason why I mentioned Parrying and alt fire is because this video is directed towards new players who have never played a Killing Floor game in their life, meaning they won’t know how to properly parry or take down zeds efficiently etc, unlike an experienced player like yourself who has loads of practice. And it takes practice too as you have to time when zeds hit you and be aware of their new attacks on Suicidal and HOE. Yes I did blabber on at some points in the video because I wanted to add more detail and depth to what I was saying rather than telling someone to just do it. I don’t normally use scripts when recording, I like to use bullet points as reading from a script will make the video sound too dull and monotone in my opinion. but now that you mention it I will try to use a script for my next video and see how that goes. thanks for the feedback.

Played the game alot on ps4 and moved on to pc almost 2 years ago. So after 3-4 years of not playing the game. Even tho i know most of the tips its still nice to get a refresh.

Sharpshooter with rack’em up and the M14 absolutely annihilates large Zeds when you freeze them with the grenades

I can't find information to back up the "you move faster with your knife out" stuff. I've had plenty of people tell me this is the case, but from what I can find about movement speed it's mostly changed by how much weight you're carrying and your current HP. You can lose up to 8% movement speed max at 15/15 or 20/20, but the loss increases linearly. HP loss can make you move up to 15% slower, also linear. Low HP max carry weight you can be extremely slow on certain classes.

Yes that’s because this mainly applies to killing floor 1 as you can’t move at all without the knife, as the weight your character carries has an actual effect on the player movement speed whereas in killing floor 2 they have been less harsh in the weight problem. But with some weapons I have used I have actually noticed a small but not too game changing difference. E.g the RPG weighs around 9 blocks of weight whereas the average weapon is like 4 - 5. Like I said it’s not a massive difference to how it can effect the players ability to play the game, but that extra movement speed can make all the difference when your 3 HP trying to escape an horde of enemies for example.whereas with the HP thing I’ve never heard about that before. I don’t think the players movement is affected by their current HP as it’s never been an issue for me when I played killing floor 2, I still run and move the exact same.

for the level 5 skill you can use either tactical movement or heavy armour training. heavy armour training is good for harder difficulties as you can take more hits before dying meaning only siren attacks can hurt you, but you run slower without tactical movement. for level 10 I would recommend tactical reload as you can reload faster but if you like using your starting pistol a lot for SWAT I would recommend close combat training. I tend to use the left one more on commando than SWAT so I use tactical reload more. for level 15 I always go for ammo vest. I find it better as the other ability just stumbles zeds which if you are playing multiplayer means that other players like sharpshooters can't headshot zeds easily. I like ammo vest for the increased ammo capacity which SWAT does tend to run through ammo fast. Level 20 I tend to use assault armour over cripple. cripple isn't bad either but with assault armour, the amount of hits before going down increases which can be also stacked with your level 5 skill heavy armour training. but it doesn't have the same skills as level 5 so you can still take health damage without it meaning you need both to be effective. level 25 I tend to use rapid assault over battering ram but both are still good. with rapid assault you can kill zeds fast in slow mo whereas battering ram knocks them down for a short while but does not kill them so I prefer to kill them in zed time but you can use both, they are pretty good. Yeah no problem, It depends on what perk you like to play as… here’s what I would recommend for each perk Beserker - Eviscerator: good for both ranged and close combat, you can block incoming attacks (Middle mouse button) and can right click to use the chainsaw attack making it a good close combat / ranged attack. Commando - M16 M203: Lightweight and even has an under barrel grenade launcher to deal with flesh pounds which can be activated by pressing the middle mouse button. Support - M4 Combat shotgun / AA12: full auto shotgun meaning you can hold down the trigger and fire with ease and has plenty of ammo. Medic - HMtech-301 shotgun / HMTech-401 Assault rifle: the 301 shotgun can be used to deal with flesh pounds / scrakes whilst the 401 can deal with smaller zeds Demolitionist - HRG Kaboomstick: cheap and can carry lots of ammo. An excellent horde clearer and is lightweight meaning it won’t slow you down in combat. (Would also recommend RPG for larger zeds) Firebug - dual spitfires / flamethrower: the flamethrower has lots of ammo and is cheap meaning it is a great trash clearing weapon whereas the spitfires can be used for larger zeds Gunslinger - Dual desert eagles, Dual 500 Magnums, Dual 1911’s: You can’t really go wrong with gunslinger, the weapons are so powerful and so cheap at the same time. They can be upgraded multiple times and do devastating damage to all zeds Sharpshooter - M14 EBR / SPX Centre fire: cheap and can be upgraded multiple times. They are also lightweight and have loads of ammo SWAT - MP5RAS, HRG Nail Gun: MP5 is a good trash clearing weapon, it is cheap and has lots of ammo and is lightweight, whilst the HRG Nail gun is also cheap and lightweight but is better at killing larger zeds. Survivalist: Killer watt / HRG Locust: great trash clearing weapons and has loads of ammo (Would recommend a kaboom stick for larger zeds) Hope this helped, I know this may be a lot to take in but If you have any more questions leave them below!

At the end of the wave their will be a trader option. Follow the blue line to the trader and open up the trader menu. Then you click on the gun you want to upgrade on the left hand side, and then click the yellow box at the bottom called "upgrade". It will cost money and space to upgrade weapons in game so make sure you have enough dosh and space to upgrade first (You can check total weight bottom right when in game). Also some guns cannot be upgraded in the game and some guns like the starting pistol won't use up space the first few times you upgrade it, so do look out for that. Hope this helps.

In the options tab, Go to controls, scroll down to the very bottom using the joystick and uncheck the very last option "controller vibration". Hope this helps...

I can see where your coming from as they have been updating KF2 for the last several years but the updates have gone down hill in terms of quality. We went from 4 updates a year to 2 and instead of getting 4 new weapons per update, we now only get 2. Also the new maps are just community created maps they just rip off and barely change a thing about. Most of their maps are created by the community and not them. But I got to give them credit for still updating a 9 year old game which most developers these days don't bother doing which is good.

It depends on the brightness of the map e.g dark maps it will glow more than sunny bright maps. I’m sure there’s a setting for it but don’t know what it is off the top of my head.

On the trader menu there will be a star symbol next to the weapon. simply click on a weapon you would like to favourite and click the star. There will be a tab on the right where you can view all your favourites.

it's a good crowd clearing weapon and does decent damage to scrakes and fleshpounds and large groups on hell on earth difficulty. but it takes two shots to kill a scrake point blank range with an unexploded shot which makes it not so ideal, which comparing this to the demo's RPG can kill a scrake in one hit with an unexploded shot. also you can't heal yourself, only team mates making it useless for healing solo unless you are with a team.

In some ways yes and some ways no, It's difficult to compare as there both very separate games and have different mechanics within the game. One thing Killing floor does do better in my opinion is the overall quality of the game. Killing floor has a several year development cycle whereas COD games come out every year and there not exactly the best quality which is why I prefer Killing Floor as they polish their games better in my opinion. There's hundreds of other comparisons I could do but that's the main one for me.

Two tips I always give to new players. "Always ALWAYS stay near the Medic. If they can't see you, they can't heal you." and "Dosh the Medic up ASAP after you got more ammo. The quicker the Medic can get their loadout, the better off you all will be."
