Today we are going to be looking at each one of Gunslinger weapons in Killing Floor 2. We will be going over all 13 different weapons that Gunslinger has and ranking them from the worst weapon to the best weapon. You can usually get away with using anything with Gunslinger because you have such a strong base kite and perks.

In all the Splinter Cell games, it's like enemies have full armor helmets so it seems like you need 4 or 5 shots. And the shots don't even really stun the enemies. At least in the original games they didn't.

I love how every single weapon for gunslinger is good, just that there are BETTER option than some of the lower-down ones on the list.

Ron, you forgot to mention the 9mm pistol, which gains sick perk benefits from Gunslinger. Getting all perk bonuses and rack em up makes the 9mm pretty strong. Another benefit being that you have one for free and upgrades don't increase weight. Their base damage is really low though, but they're still really strong on Gunslinger compared to other perks and you get the basic version for no dosh and no weight at all.

That is a very good point Ottriman, but I didn't include that with other classes that benefit with the 9mm too. Other wise I could have included them with Sharpshooter for the same reason, and duel 9mms are pretty good on Sharp for stacking rack em up for the railgun or for the m99. I might make a video in the future just talking about the 9mm and how good it can be.

I've been playing Kf2 since launch, and I'm still learning new stuff about weapons I never would of considered using such as the winterbites against the bosses. I really appreciate you making these.

Funny thing is, is that the 2011 is a real gun. It was made to celebrate the 100 years anniversary of the 1911. Not sure if they did that or not lol.

I agree with most of this, but the 1858s are at least 3rd best for sure. When maxed out they’ve got really high damage for how low the recoil is. Not to mention how fast the reload is with the cancel! But one of the best things about it is for sure its high backup ammo amount; cheap ammo too.

They are pretty good and you can use pretty much anything with Gunslinger if you want.

That's a good list, I usually use the Desert Eagles for trash clear and the 500s for scrakes/flashpounds. Maybe firebug for next weapon ranking.

Not weapon-related, but the scenery at 7:55 is beautiful. I rarely have time to view and admire the periphery of maps while playing. I only recently discovered a nice view from the balcony by DJ Hans on Monster Ball when a friend posted a picture.

Desert eagles are really good. I do believe that some Demolitionists run it as a backup trash-clearing weapon (just the single Desert Eagle).

Btw, S&W 500 is considered to be the most powerful magnum in the world. Deagle should come out after that.

Just reinstalled the game and I'm actually trying to level up my firebug back to level 25 after a reset, I have been away from the game for like 1-2 years and now I think firebug is insanely strong with the new weapon. I really want to see the firebug guide !!

Firebug is a pretty well rounded class now, I know a few years ago it was more of a meme and if you wanted a cc class you would just go with Swat or Commando but now there is a pretty good reason to play Firebug.

Just pointing out since it doesn't seem anyone on KZbin got the memo, but the developers weakened the desert eagles a bit on both fronts. The base damage is only 91 and I can't remember the upgrade numbers, but the creators said the max upgrade damage for them is only 127 as oppose to the 150 or 140 (not sure what it was) they use to be on tier 5.

@@ReapeeRon Maybe, but honestly I find them quite overrated for the hype they get these days especially if you don't plan on upgrading them and prefer more guns instead. Fully upgraded it's total cost is 3300 and 8 weight for those 127 per shot damage when the 500 magnums are right there with their 1500 cost, 6 weight and 160 damage per shot out of the gate. Also there's a loadout I'm going to try out once I get a PSN subscription again to play this game with gunslinger: dual 500 magnums, dual AF2011, dual 9mm pistols and HMtech pistol. I have a feeling this is going to be interesting since it's 7 guns, so you're unlikely to run out of ammo. However the weak guns are the interesting ones since HMtech pistol weight don't change on first upgrade while dual 9mm pistol's weight always stay the same, so you can potentially get the guns to do 50 damage. As for gameplay, well 500 magnums you pull out for big zeds, dual AF2011 can carry most of the game, HMtech for healing teammates and dual 9mm if you're low on AF2011 ammo.

@@Anomalyy666 The magnums are the same. It's the desert eagles that are weaker. Magnums do 800 damage per clip or 160 per round while desert eagles do 637 damage per clip or 91 per round from it's previous 686 or 98 per round. Even at max level desert eagles only do 889 damage per clip or 127 per round vs magnum's 800 damage per clip at base level.

This class has the best off-perk weapons, IMO. Single 1911 is a cheap but powerful backup option in early waves for Medic; most Demo loadouts should have a single Deagle as a backup. For Gunslinger I like to run a “Sharpslinger” build - Winchester on maps without a lot of long-range shots, Centerfire if I have more room because you get rack ‘em up and fast reload while you have to choose either/or with Sharpshooter. If they would just let Gunslinger dual-wield medic pistols, every game would be easy mode!

They probably do, single pistols are good, and easy to add because of their weight. Sharpslinger can do pretty well both of the lever actions I would consider to be top tier weapons and yes having duel medic pistols would be awesome, although maybe a little to OP.

It would DEFINITELY be OP, but a lot of fun! I keep going back and forth over my favorite starting weapon in the game; Medic pistol vs. Winchester. They are the only starting weapons I’ll take into deep waves and use. Have you done a tier vid on starting weapons, least to most favorite yet?

They basiaclly removed the dual wielding from Sharpshooter and made a perk from it, i miss dual wielding deagles with sharpshooter as my trash cleaning and finishing off weapon.

I'm shocked to see the 1911's second to last... they're my trash killers, my fall back weapon in virtually every build. I know that's not exactly my role but its not like trash ceases to exist cuz you have a commando or firebug on the team lol.

Let’s be honest with Kf2 guns, all weapons of gunslinger and sharpshooter are best to play. It’s actually depends on your play style I should say. if talking about efficiency so you should play with dual wielding desert eagles and revolver magnums, you can pretty much kill everything with those.

I feel like the gunslinger can utilize the lever action rifles alot better than the sharpshooter, mainly because it gains bonus perk damage with them and can gain rack em up stacks and can use the elite reload skills

Yes, I would say so. I first upgrade gives you 25% increase in damage and the second give another 15% damage. So at least the first one is worth going for, I guess.

2 Magnums (upgraded) and 2 Deagles/2 AF2011's have been pretty useful to me. Usually a gunslinger has a 14/15 gear, so medic gun is also a good addition. I'd rather use the dual winterbites or 1911 than the starting guns in the 1-5 waves. I respect the sharpshooter/gunslinger cross-perk weapons, but I prefer to reload full mags than bullet-by-bullet being GS. And the dual Glocks...yeah, friendly for GS newbies, but I think it kinda ruins the GS spirit: Making every shot count and try to improve aiming at heads :3
