You can get a FX3 cage and still use the built in mic conector, most of FX3/FX30 cages are two separate pieces, you can use only the bottom/side part and leave the top free!

My first vid of yours I watched was the last one you made, and I love the quality! I saw you used to do woodworking and can't anymore since you moved downtown, but if you ever need a space with the tools to do anything wood related, I've got a little 1 car garage space over in west seattle I build out of that you could use on occasion if you wanted. I'm currently building up some cabinets so I can finally have some good storage and a spot to put my miter and table saws, as well as a miniatures painting desk. Just lmk!

For lighting the X1C, you should look at the Biqu light. It's under 20 bucks and plugs in to the same port as the existing light in the X1/P1.

I got's me a Synology DS423+, with 4x 14TB Western Digital DC530 Hard drives, giving me 38TB of storage at RAID 5 (I can lose a drive without losing any data and hot swap out the dodgy drive). Best descision I ever made. Just remember NO RAID SYSTEM IS A BACKUP. Ideally use a 3-2-1 Backup system. 3 copies of your data, 2 copies on site, 1 copy off site (remote, AMAZON glacier, or another NAS offsite, just in case your place burns down)

Looks like at least some of these shots were done in 25 FPS, which really stands out when exported at 30 (or a multiple thereof). I've always said that video should be recorded for the media it is targeted at, which for KZbin means 30 or 60 FPS. A lot of people still appear to prefer shooting in 25 for 30/60 FPS projects, and I don't understand why anyone would choose to have stutters in their video. Care to share your opinion and insight, Yuri?

Regarding monitor, you can use your iphone with Monitor+ and a USB C cable. Iphone has a lot of battery, super bright and you always have it with you. That's why when I travel I don't always bring my fancy monitor and just carry my phone ;)
