Fish used to mean any animal that lives entirely in water. Now it has a scientific meaning which is far more specific.

The Napoleon/rabbit story is hilarious. I looked it up, turns out that he wanted to celebrate a victory & treaty with Russia and had his Chief of Staff gather some rabbits for a rabbit hunt for the celebration. Instead of getting wild rabbits, he got tame ones who, when released from the cages did not flee, but instead "charged" the hunters, and it seems that they favored Napoleon in particular. They all laughed at first, but the rabbits were relentless, turns out, they were used to being fed on a schedule and were very hungry.
