I've got a similar one from 'Trekology'. I got it as a bit of a joke because it's kind of a luxury item for hiking/camping but man has it ever been useful. From being able to eat and use stuff off the ground but also useful for putting packs on when I'm loading up my bike trailer. It's actually the last thing I put back in my pack when leaving a rest site or campground.

Thanks for the review. We have several Aldi stores in here southeast Florida, and looking it up--2392 ALDI Locations in the United States. I found the instructions that you held up, a bit strange. The weight limitation is 30kg or 66.14 lbs. Then the instructions state, "Use this table only for seating one person at a time." It might be suitable as a seat for one child, but I don't know any adults that would fit within the weight limitation. It does look like a nice portable table. I have some TravelChair "Side Canyon" aluminum tables that are smaller and heavier (2.3 lbs) which I use in the yard or for sitting a plant on. Their weight capacity is 250 lbs.

Nothing like TEMU, they are a very popular German-based company across 11 countries. They have actual stores - they are in certain parts of America too.
@SandraOrtmann19765 ай бұрын
They are a discount retailer here in Germany and have expanded into several other countries. They produce nothing themselves. Most of their non-food products are made in China. But IMO they have a good return policy (the German version is most likely different from the one in the USA). I got a very similar table from amazon. I was about 10 € more expensive, but is 100 gr lighter. Great product and great to take on a motorcycle. Not sure whether I would want this for backpacking. I can see an ultralight chair making sense, but a table? Hmm...
@fatmanfaffing41165 ай бұрын
@@SandraOrtmann1976 the table makes a lot of sense and if you'r not walking too far and counting the grams it is worth it. I find it so much more civilised to have a table but I'm 62 and my sit on the ground days are long gone. Aldi is a chain of supermarkets across the world. There are two Aldis, Nord and Sud. It is a family owned business and has a unique business model that keeps prices low. I bought the table as my usual supplier, Alton, are asking $120 for a very similar unit. It might be 100g heavier but it does the job for a fraction.

@@grahamthomas6381 I mean if you want to go by that logic, the guy that discovered it first called it alumium, then changed it to aluminum. So the discoverer, who was English, called it aluminum. The UK standards later decided it should sound like other elements that ended in ium. So id argue aluminum is technically it's rightful name. Also it's a naturally occurring element, so no one invented it
@grahamthomas63815 ай бұрын
@@pocketlint82 if you are being so pedantic aluminium is not a naturally occuring element. It is actually made from the mining of bauxite which is rendered with other minerals to make alumina which is then used to make the different grades of aluminium.
