I’m so grateful to see both spouses serving together. The prodigal’s sharing his testimony is so encouraging. The Lord has restored your marriage and It’s amazing to see that this is not a one sided restoration where the “Stander” is the only one sharing the testimony. I needed to see them both and this is exactly what I prayed for.

Thank You for answering all these additional questions...its been a heavy week for me...however after listening this scripture just came to me "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6...Thank You Shon and Andrienne.

24:32 I know that this ministry was given to you two. There are many churches that don’t know or understand how to counsel or support or teach the congregation. Your testimony is laying the foundation because there are worldly doctrine’s that want to steal marriage and say same sex or polygamy is marriage. God is calling us to realign to His will, not “modern” interpretation that condone’s those lifestyles, serial marriage and/ or divorce. The devil is a liar, he lies on God. God is good His word is true. Amen 🙏🏽

Today has been a day of just cry, cry cry I am so glad I listen to this. I’ve had physical body attacks. The enemies come after my job my family, my daughter everything and I feel like all I do is pray from the time my feet hit the floor till I go to bed for my husband, and I’ll just be very honest I have had moments of it, wearing me down. And this other woman, I don’t respond to her messages. I’m trying not to contact my husband. I contact him a little bit, but I’m trying to let go entirely and let God have it, but I’m just scared to death. If I don’t show him I’m still here. I’m going to lose I’m just praying for God‘s direction every day. I’m asking him to order my steps. I’m asking him to show me everything.

I was getting ready for work this morning and stumbled across your authentic podcast. First, thank you for your obedience to God and transparency, it was such a blessing. Secondly, you both so don’t look like you have grandkids 😊. You clearly outlined satan’s attacks on marriage and the importance to remain faithful to God and the power of prayer. I’m so happy for you. You are a beautiful couple and my heart rejoices at how God gets the glory from your union. Greater days are ahead. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for doing another Q&A! I enjoy hearing you guys share your experience and so much of it sounds like my stand. When he said “quick” to shut people off that’s exactly how my husband is I just never thought he would do it to me. I’m using this time to draw closer to God and put all my trust in him. Though it hurts, I know God is working on both of us during this season! 🙏🙌

Amen, amen amen.. God showed me all of the scriptures and has reminded me that His word does not fail. I’m standing because I believe God! Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for God is with me. He prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies. He anoints my head with oil and causes my cup to overflow. Surely His goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in His courts forever! Please add me to your prayer list. I want to do God’s will. I agree that I love my husband even more now than before.

I’m so glad you shared about how the prayers started intense then it became less. I’ve been standing for five years and here recently I just began to feel like I don’t have to go in so hard like I did at the beginning. I still pray for my husband, but I feel like I’m in a different place that’s hard to describe.

48:31 it feels like the by stander family and friends think I’m allowing the actions or they want me to fight and argue. Or some think that I’m ok with it because he brags. I’m in home standing. It’s funny because he uses their names to lie to me. (bears false witness) I can tell they feel demoralized and powerless because they want me to punish my husband, or put him in his place. I did that already in the beginning it just leads to lies. As Shon, said the wayward spouse will enforce their way or the highway. Anyone who questions he cuts off. I thank you so much for responding.

Good morning, thank you so much for posting an additional video answering questions from your last blessed live stream. I am a Christian husband standing for my wife and want to know how you handled any external communication with co-workers, friends, negative family members etc. that you didn’t want knowing your marriage circumstances and personal spiritual stand for your marriage?
@anuncommonlove111221 күн бұрын
Thank you for writing in, we appreciate you my friend and brother. The best way to handle this is to use the analogy of the Bible where the scripture uses, "the outer court, the inner court and the holy of holies". This is how you compartmentalize your communication with people. Never put outer court people in your inner court conversations. Doing this will bring you peace. Also, it will show you who is for God and you, as the holy of holies people won't go sharing with inner court either, that is a true testament of the type of people we all need in our lives. Hope this helps🙏

Thanks guys for this question/answer session, really enjoyed it. Shawn, this question is for you ; maybe it's already been addressed on a different session. How did the Holy Spirit help you to get back to your wife? In order words, how did you realize you had to get back to your wife? I am currently going thru my own process of separation.

When I stopped asking God about every other situation in my life and asked him to show me, me...This is when I was ticked off, upset and disappointed at the mirror he placed in front of me. It drew out humility and repentance... Without the two, humility and repentance, there will always be issues.

Something that makes it difficult to stand in obedience is all that stories in the bible that seemingly show God tollorance of multiple wives and even seporation and divorce. The only stander in the bible to my knowledge is Hosea, and maybe Abigail in a way. Meaning if sin is sin, I am as guilty as my spouse on any given day. Why should one choose to live alone, for what could be 2, 20 years or for the rest of my time here? Mind you im just past my 6th year of my stand, 100% faithfull to my spouse. But I do know that I will be as loved even if I choose to move on to enjoy a decent life, I just won't get the best. Not easy in text, it would so cool if would do lives from time to time.

Thank you for writing in...I know this walk is tough, but one question, if you give up, where are you gonna go? Are you going to stay single and untouched as the Bible says until one dies or reconcile later with your husband? Those are your Biblical choices and anything outside of that puts one in sin. This is why in the book of Mathew even the disciples saw how tough the married walk is and said to Jesus they'd rather be single instead. The beauty with God is he gives us free will to choose, but let's choose wisely.🙏

Great Episode. Question 🙋🏾♀️: What is your take on Standing for someone who you are not in a marriage covenant with yet? God clearly told me to stand CLEARLY… for a long time partner currently in no contact with, but I am met with so much doubt & double-mindedness due to the fact that we are not married. Any experience or testimonies from others with similar experiences? Or should we not be standing for those we have yet to enter into a covenant of marriage with? Thank You❤
@anuncommonlove111221 күн бұрын
Thank you for writing in, understand that anything outside of marriage is called singleness. Until God does a thing and brings two together, you would only be fasting and praying to bring them back to God not to yourself. If this person is not willing to do it right God's way and put a ring on it, walk away. If it is God's will he will do it right and so will you. When I have a "God's way or the highway " in your spirit all things become very clear.

Do not listen to the attacks of the enemy even if it comes from family and so called friends. "This kind comes but by fasting and prayer" Get before God, seek his face, put God first and allow love to cover. "Love covers a multitude of faults" and watch him work. At least now you know who is against you, so some relational changes can now be made...Trust God and his word, not the people.🙏

What about the man that continuously says he’s made sure to take it to God. We are divorced, he’s in a relationship. He thinks God is doing all of this for him because I was such a mean and bad wife to him. He doesn’t understand that I’m a new creation and that’s not me anymore. He thinks this new relationship is a reward for him. Is it part of the double minded? He doesn’t care how much he continues to hurt his kids either.
