Wow… that’s how I feel I’ve conditioned myself to look at my husband as if he has a illness or disability because the man, my husband would not abandon me or hurt me like this. I’m definitely standing on God’s promise he gave me.

Hello guys I just started watching last week! I was looking for something else and you guys popped up! Praise God! I have been standing for restoration for my marriage since 2005 me and my Husband had been married for 28 years first marriage for us both. But he left me and our 5 kids at that time and have remarried and old friend of his and old Neighbor of us both! It has been hard at times! I felt like giving up until I came across you guys KZbin videos. So please keep me and my Husband Terry and Family in your prayers. Thank you both for being obedient to God.

Thank you for this valuable encouragement. I have been standing for 2.5 years and my husband has progressed with the divorce and my heart is broken & I am losing hope as he is living with someone else and very hostile with me. My kids are still hurting so much and do not yet know the divorce is about to go through, so I feel like maybe I need to cut communication and focus on doing the very best for them I can alone and start to heal, but I feel maybe God is still asking me to stand, though even the Christian’s around me say I should move on .Please let me know what/how much you told your children at the time the divorce went through? Mine are both under 10years old. Thank you

Our youngest at the time was 18, and I spoke to them before I left. I wanted to make sure that they (children) were not the cause and to know this was not something their mother wanted but it was on me. Most use the children for pawns in marriage difficulties but I wanted to make sure they knew the real deal, whether or not they disagreed with me. Were they disappointed and hurt? Yes they were, but through it all God.......

My husband left while I was at work one day and said he needed time to think about what he wanted. 2 weeks later we meet up and he tells me their is someone else and he wants a divorce. A few days later I found out that the last affair 3 years ago produced a child that he knew about but I did not. He had even seen the child. My husband is an alcoholic and past drug addict. I know he has been drinking but I believe he has started using drugs again. So out of our 14 year marriage this is the 4th affair. I love him and believe that God wants me to stand for my marriage. However, everyone except my mother, my in laws, and myself think I should divorce him. Even my therapist said to divorce him. I believe that he is not himself right now. My heart tells me to stand. Please give me your thoughts. We have 3 kids also who will not talk to him and he has only seen 1 of them less than 2 hours since he left on may 5th. I'm feeling defeated and am starting to doubt what I think God wants me to do.

Thank you for reaching out Ellen...I believe God can do anything and everything we could ever ask or think. Many times when things don't look the way we want it to be we tend to tap out and say forget it. I know God has a plan for your life and your husband and yes I agree the alcohol is not helping the matter, but that is where prayer and supplication to God come is in to play. Stay before God, pray against the drinking, the alcoholism and bring back a right and fruitful mind. While God is working on him, he will also direct you to do certain things too and watch how it all turns out...be blessed and welcome to our family🙏

I’m new to your channel… I missed the actual live… I have soooo many questions lol but…. How did God come to you and tell you to stand on your marriage? Discerning the voice of God is something I’m still learning. Right now I’m not clear if this is what God is telling to be for my marriage

Praying for next steps and i have a question. What if you want to stand for the marriage after your prodigal spouse abandoned you and had an affair but God doesn't want you to stand? My husband wants to reconcile but still needs to fall on his knees and fully repent and give his life to God.
@anuncommonlove11122 жыл бұрын
You as an individual have to want to stand in spite of the challenges. In regards to God saying not to.. If he did tell you that, he definitely is not going to give another husband (violating his own rules). Scripture says you can reconcile or separate but both must remain untouched and not taking another while either spouse lives. So, God will honor your stand, yes there will be challenges but at the end of it all restoration is on both parts, the sander and the Prodigal. God will make you both whole... Trust God..

Please can you help me understand why you keep saying fake ceremony did he divorce you and try to marry up it's a little bit confusing please help me get it when you can be blessed 💞
@anuncommonlove111215 күн бұрын
Thank you for writing in.....we did divorce back in 17 and he later did a ceremony with someone else. Later came home, filed and we re-wed. When in marriage it is always meant for one man one woman till one of them dies. So when a divorce is done and a new ceremony created with a new person, Bible states as long as first spouse is still alive you are in adultery. Hince fake marriage, ceremony ect. We are to either separate and remain untouched till death or reconcile with spouse. Strange woman or man represents new person in spouses life

During the time that you were divorced, were you still intimate at all? My husband and I are legally divorced, but I know that God has given me a promise that He will restore. He still feels like my husband, but legally, he is not… just curious
@anuncommonlove11122 жыл бұрын
As still husband and wife (before God) you both will have to agree on what you will and won't do together. This is entirely up to you both as you are not the OW, but the wife God recognizes. Thank you for tuning in and welcome to the family🙏

When my husband and I were separated.. I had to come to a decision to set boundaries in regards to intimacy. I couldn't let him keep coming by for a snack and not wanting the whole meal. Neither one of us would think clearly or heal fully leaving that door open ..but then recommittment part was off the table. Then in that case everything is off the table. It was a painful decision but a necessary one.
