$20 Walmart Survival Truck Camping Fishing Challenge

In this Truck Camping Fishing Challenge, we head into Walmart with a budget of $20. All gear including fishing supplies, food, and water must be purchased within the budget! We then head out to do some saltwater fishing in new spots to see what fish we can catch! This is the fourth time I've ever done urban stealth camping like this in my stealth truck camper, and this was the most intense! I did not expect for this to happen..
Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 455,900 I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

If you're ever in Northeastern North Carolina, you may want to set up somewhere around Pasquotank County. Not that the fishing in that particular spot is that great, but you have high quality fishing in every direction from there if you don't mind driving another hour. State parks to the West & Northeast, Atlantic Ocean, Sound, & numerous waterways to the East, and 2 more State Park/lakes to the South. If you want to head North a little bit you've got a half dozen more parks in Virginia. Oh, and a pond at a little place called Fun Junktion actually in the county itself. Not a heck of a lot there, but there are a handful of trophy bass caught there every year (in 2021 I was there when someone caught a 12-lb LMB. I ran to help them because they were screaming like they were getting stabbed. The fisherwoman, not the fish).

We used to destroy black drum in the winter at Apache Pier in Myrtle Beach on the 4” gulp shrimp. Basically rig them on a Carolina rig, drop it to the bottom and reel it up 2 or 3 handle turns and wait.

I've used the crabs in Baltimore. We call them peelers. Caught a few different species with them. I love Gulp products. Caught a 20 lb cat using gulp minnows on 4 lb test

Dice some onion and garlic and toss that in with a canned chicken breast to make a broth to do the ramen in. Gotta get that protein to build muscles to pull in those trash can lid flounders.

Mike im not sure what happened to my original comment but i fish for everything here. It's a great trout fishery here with some great class 1 trout areas. Also the atlantic salmon here are insane if you can find them. Saltwater is great from the first week of may with weakfish all the way through to the striper and bluefish runs in the fall

Hey man. Bluefish is delicious if you fillet it correct. The key is to cut 1/8-1/4 above the skin when filleting. The bigger the fish, the higher the cut needs to be above the skin That'll take out the dark red meat under the skin. That's the not so tasty meat.

Wow this is possibly the most exciting video I have ever seen. You threw back the two big blue fish ( BTW most excellent to eat when fresh ) and then we learned about how to make ramen noodles with a new spice. Whats next , .... wait, can you maybe do Tarantula fighting or how about some used bottles floating by in the ocean .... you could comment on the various colors of the bottles and maybe some of them will have a bit of sand in them, etc. Most excellent dude.

I was in Walmart in Hampton VA and I compared the outdoors section to the one in Yorktown VA (the one I always go to) and the Yorktown one has no glass even on the pellet ammunition but the one in Hampton has glass covering all ammunition from some nerf to blackpowder and yes I said they have NERF darts/foam darts behind bulletproof glass.
