Things like the golden brown cornbread that my mother used to make, or a Butterscotch pie on my birthday. She passed on in her early 50s, then one of my aunts took all of her hand written recopies and her collection of old cookbooks. Many other things were never written down, because they were made so often. Simple foods that are well made are wonderful. 😀😀😀😀😀
