@@fractalflowpro I have always preempted the reaction and set a limit there to catch price. Sometimes I get insta-raped doing this. But often I see if I hadn't done that, price would have hit level and blasted away so fast it would have been uncatchable - thoughts? thanks

@@fractalflowpro Yes - I mean I see a good level, amd set a limtit order to fill me when the level is hit. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I usually never wait for confirmation, because I'm worried about "missing the move".

Yes, that represents an inevitable tradeoff. You're choosing a level that is more precise probably, but the price to pay for that increase in precision is the possibility of not being filled and missing a perfectly good trade. Not much you can do. You either accept a worse entry and never miss the bus, or you increase precision at the cost of missing the bus sometimes.
