This conversation about "reverse" market crash (real estate and stock market) basically argues that we are nowhere near done with inflation and that we might actually experience "hyperinflation" in the near future combined with accelerating poverty levels across the nation or going thru a historical economic depression...those are the extreme conditions that have produced the reverse market crashes in most examples I've seen. I personally don't see anything that extreme coming, but who knows.

Stocks are quite unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Strategists have been aiding folks in recording gains over 250k just in a matter of months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you have someone who knows where to look like i do.

There’s a lot of edge in just trading horizontal s/r levels on a higher timeframe such as the 2hr chart, I know there are a lot of fancy order flow tools out there but what usually ends up happening is that they just drag newer traders into the noise and chop them up, and this is speaking from personal experience.

As you talk through that last leg down to the bottom (low of the chart) before it reverses you mention that the move doesn't feel right--it seems to be moving with relative momentum to the downside there as it breaks through the bottom of the short term range. This video saved me from taking a bad trade on US30 this morning. God bless you! I was about to go long when I remembered this video so I replayed it and saw it was making the same exact pattern and fake breakout. If I shorted it, it would have been over 150 points which would have been $750 on .5 lot size. This is exciting! I see this play out all the time

In considering a true breakout or breakdown, tough to get a clear picture without considering a most important piece of the puzzle... the volume.

80% equities 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk.
