The 4.3 V6 I had in my 1989 S-10 4x4 pickup truck was awesome, it ran great with awesome mpg highway and great response for take off

The 350 cu in that they put in the 1970 1/2 Camaro Z-28 2as awesome. It was called the LT-1 (370hp in the Vette and 360hp in the Camaro) In 1983 I built a 69 Camaro with a Corvette LT-1 with 12.5:1 compression, Headers 3/4 cam with solid lifters (which it came with), 750 Holley dual pumper, Accel Dual Point Distributor, Heavy duty 4 core radiator, electric 2 speed fan, Heavy duty Oil pump, 2 electric fuel pumps and a Muncie M-22. with 4:11 Posit Traction with traction bars. this car put out 435HP on the Dyno @4,500 RPM and redlined at 6,500RPM. It had 307 on the fenders. LOL

I had a 305 V8 in my 1977 Monte Carlo and it was awesome and good on gas for the size of car it was even stock form, people were surprised of the quick take off from the light 👌 😀

I agree with you about the Chevy 307 cid engine, my brother had a 1970 Malibu with that dead engine it was a gutless wonder

I had a 1981 citation with the 2.8 engine it ran OK but lacking the mpg of the engine and size of vehicle
