It's even better than before, ya know cause now it has a very large indoor swimming pool. Bala and I incidentally are thinking of starting a family ya know just a few kids maybe a million or to to begin with. And I'm working with a new therapist terrific absolutly terrific. He's been putting me in touch with my inner maggot which is helping me a great deal and ya know I finally feel like I found my place. And ya know what it's right back where I started. But the difference is this time I chose it.

Cutter is very similar to Darth Vader of Star Wars. Both are devoted servants to a maniacal villain at first, but eventually exhibit emotions proving they possess a semblance of morality. In the end, they both turn on their masters and play a part in causing their death.

Cutter has compassion for the worker ants became further apparent, especially his respect for their ability to work together to survive a flood caused by Mandible was enough for him to go against the order of his insane superior and save Z and the innocent ants.

At the end of the film, Z realizes the colony is able to survive because while individually insignificant, the ants are mighty when they all work together.

Darth Vader throws Darth Sidious into the reactor of the Death Star and Cutter chooses to help the worker ants, which causes Mandible to attack and fall.
