You should definitely flip that china over if you aren’t riding on it. Just put a felt and a wing nut on top and it’ll stay on snug. Flipping it will give it a much longer lifespan, as you won’t be crashing directly on the edge of the cymbal.

I have China cymbals that I've been mounting bell-up for over 20 years. I've never cracked a China cymbal, and I've been playing them since 1985. I prefer the tone of Chinas being crashed with the bell up (edge up). Occasionally I'll mount one bell down, and I use Aquarian spring mounts when I do that. Anyway, thanks for the thoughts.
