I used to work for a automation integrator, one of my jobs was at the BMW factory in SC to fit the doors, tailgate, hood and front fenders on this car. Since it is assembled on their X5 line, we could only work on it on Saturdays and Sundays. It took over a year to get it going through the line smoothly. We started doing the actual work in October 2020. The pandemic slowed it down a lot.

As a former X6 and X3 owner, BMW designers and management have lost their minds. Just when you think their designs can't get any worse, this thing appears. Glad I switched to Jaguar (2023 F-Type and F-Pace SVR over the past year).

Ahhh so dope you guys got one of these for a review pretty much as soon as it was possible.... CARWOW + TSP = !!!! Since it was revealed - I LIKED IT! It's brash, it sticks out, and it's just different and yes, the grill is better than iX 7/i7. I have the gold on my i4 M50 grill outline and mirror caps which is part of the M sport package as my salesman told me (and realized, the rear badges too) so def love that! Can't wait to see one in person. P.S. I just got the free trial of the driver recorder, so will try that out soon.
