Incredible build for $200. However, Anyone looking to replicate this build. I highly suggest just paying the extra $60-$70 and getting a am4 motherboard and a Ryzen CPU (1600af/2600 minimum). You would get better performance and can upgrade to a 5000 series Ryzen later down the line. Plus you will have front audio and usb ports that are usable on the case.

@perotekku EXACTLY, in the last 6 months I got a free PC from my dads office, it was an old DELL ugly and black PC which was probaly abt 15 yrs old, however it completely did the job, it allowed me to play Fortnite with lag or delay ever and now I’m upgrading to a custom all white PC for around £600! All beacsue I waited to get the good PC with my brand new dream setup, so the moral is sometimes you just need to be patient even with an old PC it did the job and now I can go and buy a brand new 1 with my new setup instead of using the same PC I had on my old desk!

@@shinefake48 It's a clone of the Antec CX200 except Pado did something monumentally dumb. The Cx200 has a mesh bottom so it can do the updraft style airflow (suck in cool air from the bottom mesh surround, spit it out the top as the hot air rises) This Pado thing decided to make everything solid sheet steel so there's absolutely no air coming in. I have a 7700xt and a 3700x on air and temps are fine in the CX200. @joshido069 The problem isn't that no coolers will fit - any socket 1151 heatsink will fit. The mounting holes aren't standard and are too big, that's the only problem. 3d print a mounting backplate with appropriate size holes, modify a heatsink to take wider bolts, washers to close down the size of the holes. Plenty of solutions but need a) skill b)tools. At that point I would've just spent the extra $30-40 for a b450+ryzen 1600. And I would've just walked around and looked for a free case dumped on the side of the road instead of spending money on a crap case or just reused an old one. Not easy to make a budget gaming pc in the custom parts route, great job! I think that your thoughts about the fans orientation and thermals are right: you need a positive or balanced air flow in a gaming system. The simpliest way with this setup would be just to flip the two top fans as intake but as hot air gets higher, it's not optimal and if the rear fan is not pushing the air far enough from your PC (especially if you PC is too close to the wall), the hot air might get inside back gain. The second option would be to flip the rear fan and reduce the fan speed of the top fans. You might need to try both options and have you have a fog machine or a vape, you can use it to see if the air get choked or get sucked out too fast before it gets into the fans of your cpu cooler and gpu. It's a fun experiement to do and to watch (and show on YT, wink wink).

Are 6 pin to 8 pins safe for gpu? I have a 1060. And a amz ryzen 3200d and I don’t have a 8 pin. But I’m buying a 6 pin to 8 pin extension. Is it safe?
@Pasi1232 ай бұрын
Normally GTX 1060's use a single 6 pin so it probably doesn't use that much more power than what 6 pin is rated for. The 6 pin to 8 pin adapters are really simple since the 8 pin connector only has two extra ground pins compared to the 6 pin. The main difference is that 6 pin is rated for 75W (+75W from motherboard) while 8 pin is rated for 150W (+75 from mobo). Decent PSU's should be able to handle more than 75W from the 6 pin.

that case is a cheap knockoff of the Okinos Aqua 3, the Aqua which I have here at home and i have already reviewed the bottom skirt panels front panel side panel are both perforated to allow fresh air in thru the power supply shroud, since you dont have perforated panels on that knockoff you should turn around the top fans and have the top fans blowing into the case. That cpu cooler is a knock off of the Thermaltake Contac 9 92mm Fan Air Cooeler with two heat pipes, its ok for lower watt cpus but not really suited for an i7 4c 8t cpu, instead pickup a 120mm cpu air cooler that has either 4heatpipes or 5heatpipes plus stick with the air coolers that use a rear intel bracket and that use bolts and nuts, plus keep in mind that oem boards usually dont have a fan curve so the fans dont necessarily spin up when the cpu gets hotter, if you need more fan speed you might want to look into a fan knob that you would attach to the back of the case. As far as motherboard cpu gpu combos theres a ton of different combinations you can do for cheap for example last year you did that Xeon 4c 8t cpu on a Haswell 1150 board. And you can go even older such as 1155 second gen or 1156 first gen with a xeon 4/8 cpu. You also got X58 and X79 and X99 combos either all legit namebrand boards or chinese knockoff boards. You also got AM3 Boards and FX 6c / 8c cpus. Try em all out. For ideas on low cost video games just do a search for videos that review low spec pc video games and dont forget to pickup your weekly free video game over on epic. Gone "oof" when you shown the 2 heatpipe cooler as I've bought one before and with anything more than 2 cores those coolers tend to struggle. They're barely above Intel stock cooler performance in cooling. Your benchmarks show that the Xeon is getting 80~90C temp while gaming which isn't even max CPU load. For about the same 10 USD mark something like the Snowman M-T4 or Thermalright AX90SE would for sure perform a lot better. I mentioned those 2 coolers since I have experience using those on a 4c/8t Haswell Xeon E3 and they perform very well, but there are lots of cooler options and getting something with 4 heatpipes minimum would be a lot better.
