I've been a fan and subscriber for a loooooong time Jason. Another awesome purchase from Daniel. He's helped me fill out 3 date/mint sets. - Early Washington Quarters. - Peace Dollars. - Early Rosie Dimes. Hope all is well as it can be in this crazy world. & You did it for SCIENCE !! 😆. & The wrap job was on point !! Nothing is coming loose in that package for sure.. I've had a few of those grab bags myself... 😆

Thanks. These are fun to watch other people purchase and open. I would agree that you got reasonable value and variety. For me personally though, there would be too many items I have no interest in holding on to, or adding to what I am saving. The assembled plastic slabs with the printed info or stories in particular would not be for me. Likewise with the modern mint sets, and many of the proof sets, state quarters, modern nickles, rolls of common date pennies, and nearly all clad coinage in all denominations. I know there is value in these items but my interest level is about zero. But as I said, fun to watch others open and enjoy.

Silver pile....Gomer Pyle???? And no rim shot on the drum? 🥁 Oh well....looks like a nice score for you, though. Nice selection of coins! I'd say it looked like a fair deal. Better than some of the Ebay buys for sure!! Looking forward to seeing what's next! And as for presidential dollars ( and most all modern dollar coins) not a fan. Had they made the yearly release of presidential and first spouse coins in 1/4 ounce gold examples... that would have been nice! 1/2 ounce on the spouse coins was a bit much, in my opinion. Honestly, they're kinda a hard thing to get rid of unless you wanna sell them on ebay. Have you looked for varieties, errors and key dates?

1956 -1964 had B reverses with 1956 being the rarest.

When you find a valuable wheat cent in those rolls you’ll be happy… I think it was a good buy you’ve definitely done much worse I liked the w mints he threw in that was cool and as far as presidential dollars go meh… take ‘em or leave em although at some point I need to start going through them and picking some nice mint states for a book (except for Bidens coin which I’ll hole and hang… on a wall😬) great vidja thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼

he never has valuable wheat cents in those sets. Daniel just throws those in there to make it a bit sweeter. The crazy part is he puts the most common 1940-50s rolls in with the $200 sets but if you buy the lower end ones you get fewer coins but you get better wheat cents in the roll I've noticed.

@@48thstateprospecting still as showcased the $200 dollar set is worth it more so than the others 50 and 100 dollar sets that he sells. He does take some requests but I only asked for a 40% Kennedy to fill a roll I had so this is a really good opportunity to fill holes (and rolls) as said in the video.

Thanks for showing us the grab bag. It was a little careless (or lazy) of Daniel to send you so many 1907 Indian head cents. A variety of different dates would have been better, in the event you wanted to put them in an album or start a run of dates. Why does anyone need more than one VG 1907 cent? The Morgan dollar is definitely cleaned by the looks of it… a cull Morgan dressed up in a display to distract you from its faults That’s also got to be the roughest 1957 silver certificate I’ve ever seen, even if it is a star note. I would have expected a little better from Daniel, to be honest. It seems like he’s dumping problem and undesirable pieces, and padding out the grab bag with extremely common items he can’t otherwise find a buyer for. I’d personally be disappointed if I had spent $200 on this grab bag.

Definitely agree, a variety of Indian dates would have been nice, that is a LOT of 1907's. As far as the cleaned Morgan, for sure. It's sort of a higher end version of the 4 Indian set etc. like the war sets and such. It could have been better, but overall I was pretty pleased with it. Thank you for commenting! I suppose that's what the "overstock" means, but I'm still good with it.
