This month I did a monthly meal plan, 7 meals a week/3 a day and was able to feed my family of 5 for $350 for the month! This saved us over $400 ...if you ever feel adventurous I’d recommend trying a monthly meal plan!

Do you have a Kroger near you? cause you can download the Kroger app & get loads of coupons. I spend around 200$ a month (yes month) on groceries using the coupons 😊

SweetTea & A SmallTown thanks for the tip. I have Kroger's where we live. I'm in Mason TN 20 min drive from Memphis TN which is where I was born and raised. Love watching grocery hauls. I have the worst time trying to figure out what to get for groceries. It's just myself and my 4 year old son. BTW Steph or Gage if you're reading this tried the baked ziti. I loved it. My son wouldn't touch it though. He is Mr picky britches. Gonna try the MD spaghetti next.

I love Kroger! Plus I buy potatoes in bulk, that way if groceries get slim & you have potatoes then you can always find something to make. mashed, fried or in a soup.

I don't understand why everyone who says they are trying to save money doesn't buy more of the store brand items instead of name brands. They taste just the same and you could save probably $10 or more each shopping trip by doing it.
