The owner that had to leave his dog. He put it where it was most likely to receive care and a home. Many people run into circumstances that they cannot control and sadly letting a pet go is best for both of them. Some animal shelters have rules that make it difficult to simply drop them off. Glad he brought the animal to a safe place instead of letting it run off somewhere to fend for itself. ❤️

35:25 that's an Eastern Indigo. the longest native snake in North America.. very friendly and quite docile. They'll crawl right up on you if you remain still and non-threatening (once they get to know you). We used to have a dozen or so that practically lived in our front yard (picking off mostly frogs and mice by grabbing and thrashing them about). they used to sun themselves on our front porch for sometimes hours. They're a threatened species and therefore illegal to intentionally harm them in any way. They're a beautiful snake especially right after they molt. Doesn't surprise me a bit drinking out of that glass we used to leave a pan of water out for them. They got so used to us they'd allow us to pet their heads. Amazing creatures and we were never bitten by any of them. And in case you're curious they like to be held however they can get quite large & even a bit heavy. They're NOT a tiny snake!

@30:34, the homeowners are having a good laugh. As an Amazon driver having been bit, it's a split second to decide if a RUNNING AT YOU DOG is going to bite you or not. Those homeowners wouldn't be laughing if they were in the state of SC an others, where it is a "Put Down" state, meaning if a dog bites, the animal is put down. Funny, huh? Not to mention if the driver tripped or otherwise injured themselves running from a chasing animal takes you to civil court, especially in those same states. Hilarious.

Agreed. Dogs in public must be leashed by the law where I live. When my neighbor's Rottweiler chased my cat up across our front lawn and through the gate into the patio, I went out and gave him a piece of my mind. His response was to call me out for my language. I told him to obey the law before he thinks about telling me how to act. I llike the dog and all animals but don't stand for my rights being abridged or what is essentially my family being threatened. Afterward, I asked for a police officer to come by and I filed a complaint. Some people try to compensate for their inadequacies by weilding a large and powerful dog against smaller animals or other people. The people in the video and my neighbor are likely such.
