A cautious welcome to the plans alleged to be moving forward for the club. It all sounds incredibly exciting. It would be brilliant for jobs and profile and rejuvenating much of south Leeds. Cautious because we've heard the talk before. Let's hope that this time it's the real deal. Happy with Darlo too. I'm still of the belief that a keeper's best years are from the ages of 30-36 so this should be an excellent addition. Still trying to imagine all this development going in around a road in Beeston. It'll be packed out on match day but not sure through the week and off season - White Rose Shopping Centre is quiet enough in the week. The Council have shelved the tram idea year after year for the last 30 years, all sounds great in theory but still very curious of any progress. Apart from an Ice Ring, Car Park and a Police Station, Elland Road has never been looked at an 'opportunity' to the City and Council. Personally, I would like to see the Training Ground back as it was Fullerton Park and developed to a second ground like the Etihad for Youth games etc.

It goes without saying the squad massively under performed last season and generally weren’t good enough in all areas. I’m a little bemused by people saying we’re going straight back up. My question is how will that happen exactly? The players who haven’t yet left are either trying to leave or, are so crap nobody wants them. And at the time of writing we have signed 1 (one) player. Personally I think open your eyes, forget promotion, and start praying we don’t get relegated. The clubs contract strategy is truly biting us in the arse and there’s little we can do about it, cheers victor. We’ll be playing next season with has beens. Our only hope is the U23’s lads playing out their skins. I pray I’m wrong.

Maybe the new corporate improvements they talked about are for the East Stand? All this assumes that Angus Kinnear was being honest in his interview with The Square Ball last year of course.

Hopeful in his fight for the number 2 spot Bill will be willing to mentor Drameh for the long term good of the club. The same goes with Cooper and Cresswell. Both of the older players must know they are moving into the twilight of their careers and that one of their next jobs is to bring on their replacements.

Howard Wilkinson brought in Gordon Strachan to work with the likes of Gary Speed. Managers and coaches can coach skills and tactics but they can't bring current on the pitch knowledge because the game is always changing and the on pitch knowledge they may have had is out of date. That's even assuming those managers were decent players, Bielsa wasn't, neither was Klopp or Mourinho.

Compare it to Elias Chair, who everyone talks of as what we need, there's no comparison, Summerville is ten times the quality of this bum, his highlights reel is from the PREMIER LEAGUE. Player power, the players we signed just might have insisted on having these clauses in their contracts in order to sign. After the lack of activity in the previous Summer window the fans were already restless for new names. Agents and players pick up on that and use it to their advantage. If the club had said no to those demands and we hadn't have signed the players we did (in hindsight it might have been better with some if we hadn't) and nobody else had come in what would the reaction of the fans have been? The mistakes were made in the previous window when Orta and Bielsa identified targets but the owners were no willing to pay the fees been asked and so all we got were Firpo and James. If we had got de Paul and Cunha I believe we would have finished mid table again and that would have left the club in a stronger position in the last Summer window when trying to attract players.

Kinnear wasnt in charge of signing off deals. Rads said in his exit interview he trusted victor too much and trusting him 100% was dangerous but he did. The blame lies at Radz and victors door. crazt stuff

Who are we to believe Radrizzani or Kinnear? Let's not forget that Radrizzani threw Bielsa under the bus rather than taking any blame for the lack of transfer activity in the two windows before his sacking saying he wanted to work with smaller squads. But not until he had gone. Then he chose to throw Orta under the bus after he had gone. We must also remember that when Radrizzani tried to contact Bielsa to name the training ground after him according to Radrizzani Bielsa wouldn't take his calls. Which doesn't sound like Bielsa unless something else went on that Bielsa won't reveal because of the man he is. He was willing to take calls from Phillips so why not Radrizzani?
