You tube needs more of your lessons. Many people need to learn Swiss version of German but youtube provides them mainly with standard German. Thank you kindly for your channel and please make more videos having complete beginners in mind. My cosuin's kids speak mostly Swiss German and onlys started standard German course as a "foreign modern language" course in their schools, so hopefully with your channel we will finally find a way to communicate more effectively than before. And by the way, maybe some topics adults could discuss with younger teenagers sounds to you like an idea for the lesson? Since they visit their mother's country for major holidays and summer and winter break and would be nice to communicate with them about sports of free time activities appropriate for their age.

At 25:00 the tangerine is neuter because it's in the cute form using the ending "-li". If you don't use that ending it's genus will be female. You could also use the German variant of "-li" which is "-chen" or "-lein" which would also change the genus of the word to neuter e.g. "das Mandarinchen".

An anglicism is a borrowed word, thus it IS a German word. Just like Computer, Baby, Smartphone and many more. We're not France, when you hear people speak German nowadays it feels like 15% of their vocabulary is English.

Or you sentence is fine too! I made other videos about the tenses. That might help you more. We don't have the simple past, that's why we use the perfect instead.

@martinamuller55 Жыл бұрын
