Please don't compare. I had to deal with hdfc bank in bangalore and found them most unhelpful and they tend to speak in their own language intentionally just like the French people don't want to speak English. When you pay 200 pounds a night, it's bound to be nice.

Staying in hotels in India is a great experience I was recently in Europe and travelled across 15 destinations, the hotel rooms are the size of match box in Europe! Even the 5 star hotel rooms were so small and the services were really not what we are used to in India, we are spoiled in India for great rooms and services across hotels.
