nice review! i saw the movie in theaters on aug 23rd, though i had to drive like an hour and a half to the nearest theater that played it lol. but it was totally worth it !! and i agree, the movie is definitely more of a kids' film and most of the jokes are clearly aimed toward children. i've heard negative reviews criticizing the humor but really, i think people need to keep that in mind. this isn't one of those kids' movies that has mature jokes/references meant for an adult audience peppered in here and there. but tbh i thought those aspects made the movie more wholesome overall. you can tell there was a lot of heart and passion put into it. that said, it definitely isn't a film that everyone will like, but that's okay. you can say that about every movie out there to some extent. myself and some other fans of the series were also pleasantly surprised to see it get a theatrical release, especially here in the us. even if it had a short and limited run, it was still pretty great! given that 100% wolf sadly never really made it into cinemas, i'm sure the cast and crew were happy about that too. just a few other things that came to mind regarding some of what you said: -flying bark productions is the animation studio that produced 100% wolf and 200% wolf. they collaborated with 3 doubles producciones for 200% wolf, a spanish animation studio, so ultimately it was a spanish-australian effort which i found very interesting. viva pictures only obtained the distribution rights to bring the movie to the us, i don't think they had any hand in its production. -they did mention the moon spirits in the first movie, but there wasn't much lore on them -i did find it odd that they ended the first film with the pack seemingly respecting freddy despite his werepoodle status, but began the sequel with him still being the object of ridicule. regardless, he DID still appear to be confident in his werepoodle form at the beginning. the movie was just intended to be an extension of that journey he was on to accept himself as he is. he was tempted by the idea of actually becoming a werewolf and the experiences that came with that, but in the end it's best to be your true self. it really is a good message for kids. again, really enjoyed watching this! subscribed 👍

I guess Americans know Bluey better than the rest of the Aussie cartoons such as 100% Wolf and 200% Wolf.

Yea definitely, I hope 100% and 200% wolf get more popular, though they are good in my opinion.

no idea, I have not seen any word of the movie going to streaming platforms the first one is on prime and hulu and disney plus through hulu so maybe it will end up on one of those if I find out more I will try to respond here and let you know.

Check this website: www.200percentwolf.com.au/ then you should be able to put in your area and see if it is playing in any theaters near you. It seems it is a limited release so there may not be massive amounts of theaters playing it, unfortunately.

It is released in the US today! It just might be a very limited theatrical release in that maybe only select theaters have it showing. If you are interested, check the link in the description. It should take you to their website for tickets. It might show you showings near you.
