Im so surprised that you especially didn't find a copper! But u did find part of a shoe buckle and i love the horse tack buckle, definitely different! Nice invite foresure. And its all about the goodtimes and the memories that matter most!

@@kayesdigginit1519 We've had a few hunts with Brad, who's a good friend of ours, over the last couple years. We always find a way to meet during the digging season and it's always a great time! Perhaps you've seen the other videos, though not as amazing as his, on my channel. If not, you should! Friends are the real treasures of this hobby. 🙂

Hey guys, back in the 1800's people would be buried with a string either around their finger or foot, tied to a bell outside the coffin so if they were buried alive they could ring the bell and notify someone that they were still alive. That was back before they embalmed the deceased, and there were several people who were actually buried alive that had been in a coma or breathing so shallow it couldn't be detected... So there were some people, out of fear that they'd be buried alive, would be buried with a string attached to a bell (that looks like that small bell you found). You can do a search on people being buried with bells and see all about it. There are also many videos here on KZbin that are graveyard visits that discuss that as well. So that bell may be older than you think! Something to ponder, anyway...

You have to look closely at those drawer pulls, they could also be "Jaw screws" from a musket. They look very similar.

That little drawer piece could be from a coffee grinder drawer ? Or a sugar drawer ... on a chuck wagon? Or some cabinet with a bunch of drawers like a workman's tool box/cabinet? Maybe?
