Brad - I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease named Sjogren's Syndrome. The symptoms are somewhat like what you have mentioned. You might want to check it out if you don't have a diagnosis. God Bless You. Jan Thomas

I'm glad to see you're back! What is the largest thing you have ever dug up? For me, it was part of a swing set that was buried in my field behind my house.

Keep it up Brad. Some ideas; give us a tour of your finds, visit a museum to show us fine examples of some of the things youve found to give context to the items, talk a little about life in rural New England during the 1700’s, visit a blacksmith, cooper, whatever (maybe visit Sturbridge Village) to show how some of the tools you have found were used back in the day. I grew up in Templeton, MA, on the common, and have always been intrigued - imagining daily life in that area in 1700 and even 1800’s.

My mother called that overall weak feel in schva. As an onomatopoeia, it really sounds like you feel.

Looking good, Brad. You're getting there. I can only imagine how impatient you are to get back to "normal". Enjoy your Vlogs. Whatever comes your way, you'll handle it with your usual grace with your family. All good thoughts to you and your crew!

Thanks for the great vibes and videos, my name's Dewayne, I'm 62 and no longer able to have fun like you, I'm still having a problem finding what to do with myself now. You see I broke my neck and back in a few places a while back and I'm pretty anxious mixed with the little depression in a lot of Hope if that like makes any sense if you can picture that mindset that I'm in. I wish that if I had a wish I would say I would want to get out in nature and metal detect again but I'm not able to dig a lot of targets.

Hello Brad i watch your videos and noticed something in one of your last videos. You have some wood you said were burning from your old deck that you repaired. That wood was pressure treated and when you burn it it releases toxic fumes such as arsenic cyanide and other very bad fumes. Just a thought of what may have made you sick. You could have poisoned yourself and that would be very difficult for doctors to chase down. Just a thought. Hope you get better soon. Love your videos.

Note to everyone - remove the batteries from ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE before you put it into storage. Also, consider rechargable batteries. I've not seen one leak before and they will save you money in the long run. Get well soon, dude!

Brad, it’s great to see you steadily improving! The fact that you (and your family) entered, AND COMPLETED! , the run makes you a champ in my book, regardless of your finish time! Keep on keepin’ on! 👍🏼 A neighbor, from Upstate NY (Adirondacks)

Happy to see you getting around better. If you are feeling up to it, I could watch you do leather work one or two times this winter. I saw on another channel a guy make a lash pin pointer combo sheath. Look forward to whatever you have on your channel. Stay healthy!!

I have been going thru similar symptoms, the jolting up my neck, now down my back/legs. The doctors tried to find out what was poisoning me. Muscle loss was a big issue. Statins caused my body’s muscle damage. Almost 2 years now, I am getting stronger and so will you. Prayers for healing. The extra deck wood, how about making some bird houses? We love you and your videos.

It’s great to see you still trying your best to participate in some activities. You look great,I know the feeling of looking good and my whole body in pain and test after test with the doctors trying to find out what’s going on,no fun. Do they have you on different medications to help you through? I hope you get better soon.

How long after you did the deck did you get sick?pressure treated is toxic especially the old stuff , look into PT poisoning as reason for your illness, Don’t BURN IT it makes toxic fumes, put in a landfill

Brad I hope you read this. The alarm bells went off for me when you said you were burning the old deck. It is possible you have been exposed to some very unhealthy chemicals including arsenic, copper, chromium etc. if the wood was treated lumber. I really have thought about how a very healthy young person like yourself suddenly gets sick. My Dad worked on the railroad many years ago and he got deathly ill from doing something similar. He actually was put in a ICU. They had to do Chelation therapy. Anyway just wondering if there is any correlation between burning and your initial onset of your illness? You need to remove the ash from your yard and dispose of the wood if treated in a landfill. God bless you and family.

When you’re sick some days, it’s hard to even get out of the bed. But, you did good getting out and do the race.. The part I really appreciated about this video was the tour through my hometown of Bennington, Vermont. It has changed a lot in 50 years.. but the character is still there. I seen you passed by the old school where my mother and my sister graduated from. My brother went to the new school the first year it was open and graduated there at the end of the year. My cousin and I used to walk around the school to find dropped change so that we could buy a candy bar while we walked a mile home. We would stop in the store on the corner of Main and Safford St. to buy our goodies. he would always buy candy, I however, would buy the gigantic pickle he had in a jar on the counter. A huge pickle for a nickel..🤣 I love the videos, Brad. I always look forward to them every week.❤

It feels strange to have a connection with someone you've never met, but I've watched you for all of your years being here. You and your beautiful wife Rebecca, Bentley growing so fast, you maturing as a man (and stopped cussing on video lol, thank you) and a wonderful host of bringing us beautiful Vermont mountains and the secrets they hold. I pray for you and wish all of you the best this winter. And know that anything we hear from you is music to our ears! Your fan base cares Brad. And will stand by you.
