Fished Oct 18-24, 2000 I've created playlists of Bassmaster shows, organized by year and they can be found at home page of my KZbin channel. Should make it easier to find and navigate from show to show.

randy blaunket jumping logs and catching the same fish he hooked and lost, throwing back in seconds later and getting it in the boat ... WOW how awsome was that...

Best thing i saw about this tournament was no one was looking at their depth finder all day

Randy Blaukat was a heck of an angler and a very humble hammer at that point in time. Fished similar to John Cox and even Paul Mueller finding his own deal and getting away from the crowd.

No he really wasn't, he fished a long time and really didn't do much more than average compared to everyone else who fished at the same time. I mean it's more than I'll ever do but as professional anglers go he was average

I was actually at the weigh in for one of the days of this tournament, I must have fit as many autographs on a single white bassmasters hat as humanly possible lol.

I'm shocked to still see a round baitcaster used in 2000-2001 era.

@coltonn31 I am, if I weren't I would say how these were the only days Randy could actually be competitive. As soon as people started figuring out electronics he fell off the face of the earth. He's a bitter old man who can't compete and blames it on everything other than what it is. He's just washed up
@kerrysanders666811 ай бұрын
He was able to compete for more than 10 years and did quite well until electronics came to dominate the field. That's no small accomplishment. So he has some gripes, who cares? You guys get angrier at him than he does at live scopers. Just relax.

@Mjones8383 he does complain alot but he has a point. Today's "fisherman" are just video game fisherman. FFS is ruining the sport. Takes Zero skill to look at your screen and watch for fish then throw a lil swim jig and watch it on your screen. Nonwants to watch the backs of 4 guys looking down not talking. FFS is why you see no body's and first year pro angelers win big tournaments first time fishing them.
