And the audacity of a drug addict who had multiple affairs and then tried to kill his wife.....a man who waffled on a daily basis about which son he loved the most and which son he didnt....a woman who had more affairs than Carly was of age....how were these people better to raise kids than Sonny.....Allan was laughable here....he loved PJ with conditions and strings attached.....they were annoyed with Carly for lying about Micheal, which in their minds they were entitled to be.....but their behavior was so much worse.....and all PJ did was victimize Carly to keep her in line.....all the faults that people loved to point out about Sonny and Jason....at least family was important to them and not just a pie chart or flow sheet.....PJ was a useless drunk who kept Carly to help him become more of a man and help him win his familys approval and most importantly....to stick it to Jason....he kept Michael for the same reason.....so now let me ask this question.....how was Q's better than Sonny or Jason or Carly?

Right both Alan & Monica had the share of flings, kids from others rather than their spouse & marriages even Edward cheated on Lila when they were younger remember people-I do.

You know, everyone found these people to be so funny and quirky but nice.....i found them to be dysfunctional, dishonest, disrespectful and most of all, hypocrites.....they all.were worse that sonny, Carly and Jason.....all they had was money and title....only emily and lila sometimes made watching them doable.

Jason is back! :) Well by phone anyway. :) Jason must have gone quiet after Sonny told him that Carly is pregnant and he (Sonny) is the father. Monica: Giving birth to babies is about the only thing she is good at. ROFL! Well Monica there is the sex too. :)

@@leanadickey9939 I don't like Robin never did she acted more like his mother than his girlfriend trying to tell him what was in his best interest & lying to him then "ratting" him out to AJ which caused ALL this mess to begin with when AJ found out Michael was his. So Robin started this mess she lied to Jason, didn't mind her own business, & should have kept her mouth shut!

I have a feeling the Carson fans are all a younger generation than us. Carly came onto the canvas around mid to late 1990's, right? By then, I remember the morals of society were definitely starting to go downhill in a big way. I think a lot of that was due to parents (probably mainly a lot of single mothers) who started to let their kids do what ever they want, including trying to be friends with their kids. So I think many of these kids turned into spoiled brats, basically getting what ever they want . I think that's why Carly's character is so appealing to them because she is also a very pushy, spoiled brat who often gets whatever she wants- or Jason or Sonny will bully someone to get it for her. Either way, I agree, disgusting.

Sonny wanted a PART in his child's life. The Quartermaines wanted him excluded, otherwise they were going to PREVENT Carly from being a part of EITHER childs' life. They wanted it to be ALL their way and nothing the other way. Instead, they were left with nothing themselves. Play for high stakes, lose with high stakes. It's called karma and it's the law of the universe. Never understood how all of this came to be, and seeing it now it happened EXACTLY the way it should have. Rich people do not get to control everyone else's life just because they want to. The restraining orders/threats were the last straw in my mind.

I do think the Quartermaines (especially Edward) can be really selfish, disgusting people sometimes (except Monica and Lila) but it really may have been better if they had been able to keep CArly out of ANY of her children's life, even if she is their mother. She basically turned into a sociopath not long after joining the show, Just lina, and was not fit to be around ANY of her children for long, whether any of you Carly fans want to admit it or not. Period.

Lynn Smith wait so if I like Carly during this period because she a great character and played by an amazing actress I have to be a young immoral person? In this genre everybody is immoral from time to time. Sonny’s a mobster, Luke a rapist, Alan tried to kill Monica, etc. No one is innocent in a soap.
