If Carly said the kid was Sonny’s she would have been accused of using the baby to get Sonny to help her. I think the one thing Carly did here right was not make Sonny responsible. It was good writing that Sonny figured it out on his own and made his own decision about getting Carly and Michael out of the Q’s.
