2000 Honda Civic P1456 EVAP fuel vapor leak. Gas Cap?

Awesome video thanks!! My question if I’ve replaced the cap already. Honda replaced it again after I told them I already did that. Still have fumes heavy in the vehicle. P1456. That’s leading me to believe it’s bypass solenoid or another part on the canister. Your thoughts please

Have the same code on same car. Replaced gas cap but code still returns sometimes. What’s weird is when the outside ambient temps are high (70 degrees or more) the code doesn’t show up

The plug for the canister shut valve is missing cause some wires got burnt what color are the wires ? I have a black and green one that are just by my battery can those be it ?

My check engine light came on 2 weeks ago and I got the code for cat converter, so I had that fixed 3 days ago, and today my check engine light came back on, so I got it scanned and got this p1456 code, which is evap system leak? Do you think that still have anything to do with the converter I just bought? Or should I take it to a Honda dealer at this point?

Not trying to be a jerk but did you consider bad hoses to the charcoal canister evap system?

A quick google of code of P1456 would have first take us to the gas cap as it is usually the culprit. Buy a 12 dollar gas cap and see if that does the trick. But now your down the gas cap and whatever a shop charges by the hour. Buy a scan tool they are now cheap these days.
