Oh wow, you got that fixed up nice! I didn't know of many Hoovers that have the performance light. I'm looking for one of the later model self propelled ones, I have seen them pop up before frequently so hopefully won't be long before I find one.

I've got the same one, I love how it's the translucent blue like a Supreme but with an electronic bag check indicator.

That's the motor filter. It protects the motor from dirt if dirt escape from the bag

It depends on the vacuum itself. Some vacuums that are no longer being made that they don't have alot of available parts I use very little. Gotta treat them like a restored classic car that you'll use on the weekends.
