It's like in checkers when a pawn reaches the opposite side it becomes a queen. Every now and then a looter is possessed by the looter hive mind and picks up a Fian's sword. It then becomes a dreaded Looter Champion.

What was the looters morale?, to keep fighting even after losing two thirds of your army usually is enough to break most normal banner Lord armies or force them to attack again.

I'd say it was close maybe 100-200 more losses they woulda started running

Yeah without a ram the fians can just focus on two spots which makes it an easy win

It depends, if the ram gets destroyed the fians can win easily but once the looters are in its GG, usually the looters will win.

Are you able to take control of another troop with a mod? Or is that option available normally in the game?

Not normally in the game you need a the RTS Mod to take control of other units
