Under the passenger side carpet/kick panel there is a fuel cutoff switch - they pop all of the time. The other issue is the temerature control located at the front of the motor.

Even with a bad fuel pump, shouldn’t crank ? Guess I’m not sure how is fuel cutoff related

The fuel pump being switched off won’t stop it from spinning over.

Mine wouldn’t start either and I ended up buying a used pats transceiver on eBay for $40 with free shipping .. My Mazda truck started right up with the EBay pats ...

In theft mode the theft light burns constantly. I know first hand.

Terminal connectors and/or wire is bad/corroded somewhere more than likely. Same issue with my 4.0. Pretty common problem apparently.

I have a 96 b3000 with an electric issue that I haven't been able to solve for over a year.i washed it and cleaned the engine bay and it stopped running before that it was fine now when I hook up the battery the voltage drops from 12v to about 4v .so there is some type of draw somewhere but I can't find it i have checked everything I can think of and everything reads 12v nothing more mabey someone in the comments has a suggestion?

You prob have a short somewhere...possibly in the fuse box.

That happened to me one time all I had to do to get it started with pull up on the shifter And turn the key at the same time then I would start it up no problem
