I’ve seen Steve Magnante on different channels over the years and have always marveled at his knowledge. Back in the mid 1980’s I went through encephalitis and was out of work for months. I remember the pain from spinal taps and the terrible fevers I suffered through. At first I was diagnosed with pneumonia and sent home with a high fever. After 3 days I wasn’t able to maintain my ability to understand the world around me and was again seen by a physician who determined I was dealing with encephalitis. Since then I’ve had several health issues including back surgeries, broken bones and viral hepatitis that took 17 months of chemotherapy to put into remission. Now at 74 years old other than gall bladder surgery and a broken leg I’m doing great. I’ve always been a fan of Steve’s but this video has caused some deep feelings for what he’s going through and pray to God he heals quickly and makes a great recovery.

@shojus5 ай бұрын
I do agree it's a shame people have to go through this, but there are many ways to setup a plan for emergencies, and unfortunately that wasn't done in this case. Nobody ever thinks they will get sick, until they do. As far as "free" health care, no such thing exists, you're paying for it in some fashion. I've heard horror stories of people in Canada waiting to see doctors and just not getting seen. Every country has it's problems, but there's a reason so many people want to come here. Like I said, no country is perfect, but the United States is the beacon of freedom for many people, and I wouldn't live anywhere else for that simple fact. God Bless

The car community should really step it up a bit and help Steve out if possible, Motor Trend O'Reilly's NAPA For all his contributions and sacrifices, maybe Derek Bieri and yourself could rope up some sponsors or do a fundraising event or event on your channels.🎉❤

The Hardee's in my hometown actually made trucker hats for the older men who gathered weekly there. The named them "The Breakfast Club". So many potholes in PA (Pennsylvania) that's why folks drive slower. You were in NJ and didn't go to a WaWa?! Oh, my! Love seeing and hearing you all laugh and joke with each other. What a great experience for you, Josh. Then for the kidlets to get to experience his greatness through you as well. Early 80's Ford Fairmont and Mercury Zephyrs dashboards would shimmy and shake at 60mph... in our family anyway. Love the video! Great content, Josh. I'm so glad you got the car that you saw being built. Glad you are plugging for some help for Steve as well. See ya next vid.

No finer home for the Funny Fairmont! I just moved and haven't set up my TV yet, I saw this on my phone, and now I am super motivated to get busy and watch this epic roadtrip and meeting of the minds! Steve Mags is a national treasure, and you and your lovely family's adventures are destination viewing for me and my wife. Best wishes to all from a Bay Stater in exile in NC!

Steve is such a great guy, super knowledgeable and always down to earth, I feel bad for the hand he's been dealt this past year or two but he keeps on keepin on and I hope he gets all the support he needs. Great addition to the fleet!!

I've been praying so hard for Steve🙏🏻 I miss seeing Steve in the junkyard. I am so thankful Josh that the Lord allowed you to be a part of Steve recovery by purchasing his car. I know you will cherish it and take care of it like Steve would. May the Lord Jesus bless you, your wife and your family, and this Channel🙏🏻

Josh, you are always thanking us... I am thanking you! I absolutely loved this, and having this legend sign the glove box brought me tears. I love your entire family, and I thank you for all of your hard work. You are a servant of God, and God bless you all. THANK YOU FAMILY.❤. P.s. y'all gotta get Raymond a tiny skateboard, set him on it and he can cruise faster than the Fairmont in the 1/8 mile 😂. 2:02:57

Steve is a legend and a genius. I too remember and enjoyed reading his magazine anrticles and builds when I was a kid. Very unfortunate, his situation. But he’s raised a good bit of money thanks to fans. This car went to a great home and to someone who will thoroughly enjoy it and appreciate it for what it is.
