I thought the same b/c I do the same thing!! I think as women, and even more so *HOLLY* (in the public eye), we are always judged & we feel the need to explain or apologize for who we are! Now it sounds like we are judging Holly for apologizing in this video 🤦‍♀️ and I don't think any of us are! I am just *empathizing* with it & relating b/c I do the same and I wish as women, we all didn't feel the need to apologize for our own existence! I find myself in public apologizing or saying "sorry" for things that aren't my fault and I am trying to stop doing it, but I think for many of us , the need to please others & be "nice" is so innate and was pounded into our heads since childhood 😑

I know y2k is a whole trend now but idk I’ve always loved that era because it just makes me happy, people always hate on it but it was such a fashionable time, people were really stepping outside of the box and nowadays it’s really hard to find people that wear something new since everything’s been done! Anyway I just love that era, makes me so happy and would love to see the pieces you owned! Not even from the show but in general

I feel in love with LV in the early 2000s! But my part time fast food restaurant job when I was 16 wouldn’t support luxury goods lol I always LOVED the Manhattan so I bought a Manhattan pm from poshmark and it’s definitely an evening bag for me lol it’s wild how much smaller things were 20 years ago! I always wanted the black multicolor Trouville because of you but sellers want way too much for them now! It’ll always be my dream bag!

That Dior bag with the pink and white logo was my dream bag!! I bought a knockoff on eBay back in the early 2000’s and it looked really good for a knockoff. My absolute favorite print so I am glad it came back, even though I still can’t afford a real one lol.

Those LV pochettes are timeless. Love that you saw their value and have held on to them and loved them! Have you heard of fashionphile? It’s a reputable online resale shop that specializes in designer bags and accessories. I bet you could find most anything you “missed out on” back then, there!

I might add that my b-day was yesterday & I got a new Coach bag that I treated myself to at a thrift store w/the tags still on, retail: &350. What I paid: $29.99. A thrift store is also where I got my Prada & Stella McCartney bags (R.I.P.) both for under $30 & like new & $10 for a brand new Chanel wallet.

I swear those 90s/00s LV monogram canvas leather is something else. I just love its durability and you can use the bag for so many years and it will not break. I’ve worn mine for more than 18 years! The only tears i can easily spot are just on the vachetta.

Louis Vuitton leather details oxidize..What memories watching this!! I didn’t have the bucket bag, had LV Epi alma bag and epi purple pouchette bag (like you I loved them!!) and red vernis bag.So many friends had the multi colored monogram bags. I also purchased the Louis bucket bag. I hated it, and I still do. Then, I purchased the multicolor one, and carried it once. Lastly, I purchased the large satchel, and I carried it almost exclusively until I figured out it was too huge, so I stopped. Switched to a small Chanel bag and broke the chain on day one. Since then, I switched to a mahogany color alligator bag, and I never switch it out. I finally found MY bag! I remember the Kentucky Derby episode. Your hat had some My Little Ponies all over it! It was SO cool!
