@Haputale Ear piercings are normal enough and relatively harmless. You see ear rings on babies nowadays. But a pierced nose and belly button is completely different. First of all: you have to take more care of those piercings to avoid infections. Second of all, it can be seen as something that would make the child more prone to be sexualized. I could list more reasons, but overall it's just not good parenting.
@THEwolfKiana5 жыл бұрын
@@florence4372 Ear infections in babies that have their ears pierced are very common. A lot come out very crooked, too. Most people get them done with a piercing gun which are terrible and cannot be sanitized. Babies can't take care of them themselves and can end up pulling on them and even scratch/pull them out. I'd say piercing anyone who cannot give consent to it is wrong. Babies and little kids don't need piercings. Wait till they are older. I have my nose pierced. The care for it wasn't that hard. They don't really take that much to care for. Just keep your face clean and clean the area. No different than what you really should do for ears, too. I can't speak for bellybuttons, though. Never got one and never want one. The beauty of piercings other than the earlobe is if you don't want it in 10 years, you can take them out and they will close. Earlobes won't close. Personally, I love tattoos and have some, I think individuality and self expression is important but I also know we live in a world which bases a lot of judgments on 1st impressions and physical appearance, not everyone will accept this level of modification and people that go to this extreme have to be intelligent enough to realise the impact that their choices will have on all areas of their life. That being said, if they are happy more power to them.

I don't really understand why somebody would intentionally make themselves outright scary, and then get upset because - predictably enough - people are scared. Every single one of these people says, "I just want be myself!" So, okay, that means one of two things: you really are scary on the inside, and you want people to know it. Or, alternatively, you really are a very ordinary person inside, but you're trying to mislead people into thinking you're special. Right? If you want to look very unusual - great. (And I actually love of these looks.) But if you do it, OWN it. Don't turn your own choices into somebody else's problem.
