This was my first game. 10 years old, sitting at the top of mount Davis. It was intimidating, but what a game! Ended up with a stomach flu. My dad and I had to walk to a parking lot that was far away from the stadium and I threw up three times on the way there. Great memories!

Dam...my first game was Raiders @ Chargers 1999...OMG so many fights...while me and my mom were waiting in line to try to punch tickets in...the other Raider fans were PUSHING the whole crowd to try to get in faster...I was 5 years old at the time...I think we lost but we took over the stadium anyways...

I dont know why they keep saying Gruden went against Raider offensive philosophy claiming before him they always threw the ball far when in reality they won in the 70s and 80s by running the ball mostly and when they did pass it was short passes

Stabler didn't even have much of an arm. The Raiders get the deep ball reputation from LaMonica then later Plunkett. The offense Madden and Stabler ran was very much a west coast style offense. Used Casper a lot and as you said, ran the ball a lot, especially behind Shell and Upshaw.

I just love watching this Jets team play. Especially the linebacker corps, they're my favorite all time. Also if they still had Keyshawn in 2000 they definitely could've had a shot at the title.
