IMO at 1KHz polling rate, diminishing returns start in that afterwards, the latency reduction really gets redundant. And I know as a Wolverine V3 Pro user and it's Tournament Mode that I'd like to point out at 28:57, it's certainly fast enough for me. Also for 30:47, I can say as an XB2 owner for my Xbox 360, using my Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra, I get 6ms of delay for ~165Hz poll, and with my V3 Pro's Tournament Mode, it's better at 5ms for 200Hz. Both of those are accounting for the occasional jitter on the part of the adaptor itself.

This is the same situation with gaming mice nowadays, everyone has sensors that are pretty much the same high performance ones. But what makes or breaks them are how good the clicks are & shape feel. You make the mouse feel bad, & the sensors don't matter.

This controller has a higher polling rate and better latency. The Vader 4 pro has bad D-pads.

Ended up ordering a Machenike (Mike and Ike?) G6 Pro Starflash but... it has yet to arrive. Thales Campos did a tear down video of it that gave me some hope that the quality is potentially okay. Aside from the bizarre decision to stick a clicky switch into the trigger lock switches... luckily I don't have a lot of use for the locks so it ought not impact me. I really wish it didn't feel like a pull of a slot machine lever to order practically any controller. Any one of them could have a single design or QC flaw that can make them completely unusable...

Hey man, a few video's back you talked about a dongle that would make it possible to use an xbox controller with PS5 games. I've been waiting for that video for a while seeing as how I like using an xbox controller but not been able to play with it as playstation doesn't allow it on there PS5 games. Just hoping that video isn't going to be too far from the horizon. :)

mine arrive yesterday. is awesome. sticks are better than my g7 se, a lot. 1000 hz wired and wireless.. latency dongle doesnt feel noticiable imo. pc gaming

Hey man, do you still think the recent wired gamesir xbox controller (i think t7 or g7 se?). Its the white one with 1000hz mode switchable, even on the xbox...do you think its still a solid controller and worth 30-40$? I prefer wired so that doesn't bother me.

Thanks for the review, Kevin. Pity the only positive about it is the 2000Hz polling rate... plus, big negative that the rear buttons aren't placed well and take a lot of force to fully accentuate. Can't wait to see your eventual review of the (somewhat newly announced) Turtle Beach Stealth Pivot controller and see how that compares to this!

i don't get it. make a near perfect polling rate controller with less than ideal buttons. like will they in the future release a controller with all mechanical switch buttons and dpad, with great ergo, great trigs, 4 back buttons, replaceable face plate, use hall sticks, replaceable sticks, and sell it at a higher price? coz i might buy that. if its a "perfect" (there isn't) xbox controller i would want it and not buy another for until the sticks break, so hopefully last controller in my lifetime. (i have from 360 to present 4 xbox controllers because of drift. also my ps2 never got no damn stick drift) my idea of a perfect controller is the xbox 360 or x/one series so im basic like that. stick hall effect in em and mechanical buttons everything except analog trigs, wired or wireless, hell i'm set no need for replaceable faceplates or sticks or rgb. hell don't call it pro just make it standard i won't buy 3rd party controllers at that point.

Optical switches use light to actuate. It has nothing to do with the feel of the button. Most optical switch keyboards are linear switches rather than tactile because they are analog. The switches used in the controller are micro optical switches similar to what is used in mice not keyboards.

@GamerHeavenOfficial excellent review as always. I am mostly playing warzone and now bo6 with a vader 4 pro. I feel these Chinese gamepads are not so accurate while aiming. I just installed gulikit tmr modules at my ps5 gamepad. Need some time of gameplay with them !
