Lee Hyori and then Hyuna SPECIFICALLY during her Bubble Pop promotions were peak idol beauty for me. Idol makeup now reminds me of when I used to take pictures in high school with the contrast turned up so high that you only really saw my mouth and my eyes. It's pretty but it feels lifeless. The tanned goddess look was such a slay and I so badly want another sexy queen to bring the look back again

I love how the trends in the 90/00's for South Korea and US (and probably many other places) were the same but each person just had to tune it to their features..... Must say the Korean celebs seemed to have better done makeup 😂

There was something captivating and unique about older gen kpop ,the music and the fashion, music was so catchy and unique, and the girls were mature in a sexy vibe,with unique memorable styles and i think many idols were tan before skin whitening was such a huge deal, like lee hyori ,most sistar members,hyuna etc
