As a korean I'm shocked it costs anything in an spa because it's usually just a thrown in free kind of thing. Also mediheal doesn't want you to know this but modeling masks are much cheaper bought in bulk packing(1kg about 12dollars) so this all could have been about 10 cents Modeling masks also actually have no other benefits besides cooling and soothing so no need to pay extra for a fancy one.

As an aesthetician I agree, it's essentially latex masks, I can find those on pretty decent prices. Thing is, I hate latex masks, I don't find they do anything for me personally. edit:My bad, I looked it up a bit and saw it's Algea, but I'm pretty sure latex will have the same result, except if you are allergic on one of them or even both.

However that doesn’t mean you don’t get a lovely glow, personally I use the overnight collagen mask during my flights abroad so my skin doesn’t dry out..Depends on the skin type - if you have cry skin, collagen gives a more gorgeous hydrated glow..What works for one doesn’t work for everyone

No one is gatekeeping nothing…Even the most famous, rich celebrities get breakouts once in a while and succumb to wrinkles and aging… Just use whatever readily available as long as they’re non toxic and clean, you’re good to go…

Purified water is just cleaner for skin. But actually ppl don't realize that bottled water is actually way less regulated than tap water if you're in the US. So you'd be better off using tap water, or just get a water filter jug. Tap water is shit.

Just go to the dermatologist if your case is severe they are going to tell to try some pills, because I have rosacea I coul figure out it's going to be isotretinoin and it works, my case was very awful but thankfully now my skin is very healthy. Don't worry and go to the dermatologist 😊

You're so right, in the US bottled water is actually way less regulated than tap water. Bottled water distributors only need to be checked once a year and even then it's not as much as tap water, which gets tested several times a month.

In South East Asia, at least where I live, the tap water is not that clean. I'm from Bali and the water here is clean but it is still not safe for consumption like in the US or Canada. But it's even worse in remote places. Where I'm studying for uni rn, there's literally dirt in the water. You can use a water filter but still, better be safe than sorry.

friendly reminder that pores don't open and close, they're not sphincters, they remain the same size no matter the temperature. what can happen is the heat will soften the sebum contents inside your pores, making it slightly easier to remove.

heres a skincare tip no one wants you to know: as long as you dont have a medical condition, it is fantastic for your skin to allow it to become greasy for a day or two, doing "nothing" to it. try it over a weekend sometime.
