Much respect for your shoutouts to Vandal Hearts and Grandia. The original PlayStation was on quite the roll when it came to RPGs. And Konami was on another level not only with Vandal Hearts but also the first two Suikoden games, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Silent Hill, and Metal Gear Solid. What was also impressive about Konami games on PS1 was the sound in these games. The music and sound effects in Konami titles were some of the best in gaming at the time. For me, Grandia represented me finally exploring the PS1 RPGs that didnt fall under Squaresoft or Konami at the time. So it is the source of special gaming memories for me because of that. From there, I then dabbled in Legend of Legaia, Lunar Silver Star Story, Legend of Dragoon, Revelation's Persona, Wild Arms, Breath of Fire III, and Alundra. What a time for JRPGs.

We all thought that, yet look at Tim Duncan's numbers against the Lakers in this series. It's shocking, Duncan had a 34 point, 25 rebound game and no one talked about it or noticed it.

It's weird to watch basketball from 25 years ago after watching the highly skilled, spread floor basketball of today. Every possession was just such a grind.
@lichg978 ай бұрын
The possession was grind because the players at the time actually play defense instead of being stat hogs.

@lichg97 😂 look at the offensive sets they're running, there's hardly any off ball movement compared to today, just a bunch of post ups and basline jumpers. Not that I'm complaining cuz it's enjoyable but don't say that this is somehow a more efficient way to play
