Loosen the nut and the wiggle while you pull. Won't break the connector or hit your self in the face with the wheel. I removed my ISF wheel to fix the paddle shifters.

You're a pimp, just got in alignment done, and astounded the mechanic, cuz my steering wheel would not line back up. Pretty much all zeroed out on all camber, but now I got to take the steering wheel off and move it one notch over🤣🤣 thank u G

@@Flame15Kane I took a sideswipe from an MDX Acura, and I have spacers on my front wheels, so the axle on the subframe took all the impact instead of the body. Which was great for repairs, but now X amount of years later I’m having issues 😂😂😂 I was joking with my buddy who did my alignment, because I’m one of the few people who have a camber kit on their car, not to make extra negative camber, but to get true zero😂😂😂 but yeah 203k miles and still going, and just realize it’s cheaper to buy a bill to Jersey with turbos, then to buy another is300

Is it possible that the steering wheel gets misaligned when removing it and then putting it back on? Also by banging it to remove it, is it possible to break the windshield? I saw a video where someone made a crack on the glass from banging it.

Unless you mark the steering wheel and column beforehand yes you’ll definitely misalign it. You have to drive the car with the steering wheel only lightly threaded on, get on a safe open road, and remove the nut and pull the steering wheel off and align it while driving straight. That’s what I do. Works every time.

Yes, your local AutoZone will rent you out a three Jaw pulley puller. It’s perfect for this application
