How about the adjuster screws, my '05 right side bulb shines lower than the left. Can't seem to find the adjuster screw to fix it.

FYI for confused viewers. The video appears to be for 2005-2007. Earlier Escapes have a single 9003 (H4) bulb for high and low. There are other videos around that show that setup.

What to do if you got water in the bottom of the receptacle. How to get it out ?

Two general options: 1. Open the back of the headlight housing and soak up with a paper towel or rag. Be sure to inspect the gasket while you have it open, and make sure it makes a good, tight fit to be secure. 2. If the problem persists, you *could* use a small drill bit, something like 1/18, to make a very VERY small hole in the bottom of the housing to drain. Again, treat as a last resort after trying the first option, but something I’ve had luck with in older cars.

Hi Matt, I thanks for bulb advice. As it turned out, it's not bulb or fuse, it looks like sockets for high and low beams. I need to pick your brain again.They look rusty and corroded. They need to be changed out. Is it a difficult job ? Any suggestions ?

@@MattStephensRich My only obstacle is I had to remove the battery in my 07 Escape before I could change the lamp. Mine for some reason did not have the clearance between battery & lamp compartment that your's did.

Huh, that is indeed super weird. Try tracing the wire connections, are you able to spot the main beam?

2001 Ford Escape is different, u have to unplug the connection first, then remove rubber boot ,then unclip small wire clip

You can check around at a scrap yard or for parts on ebay to buy a replacement!

@@MattStephensRich it's the little plastic ring so I'd have to get the whole housing. Probably gonna rtv it or make my own slot with metal tape. Been chasing the left headlight going out. Put a new bulb in and it worked but now the highbeam is out too and the bulbs look fine. All the fuses look fine too.
