Here's a update, it fixed the problem running like a champ and no more starter fluid and she is not cutting off on me while driving lol

I have a 1997 Acura CL & mines shuts off while I’m driving but if you jiggle the ignition sometimes it’ll cut back on. Very scary and I need to get it fix ASAP. I thought is was the ignition switch but I’m starting to think it’s my relay switch

Paul my man I appreciate the video. I had random misfires I fixed by replacing coils battery and starter which helped for a couple weeks until it continued to cut off while driving. Same exact issue, I replaced this part and started right up runs great. I was able to get underneath and replace without removing anything although it was very tight quarters a smaller person could have done much easier! Thank you again for the video never would’ve known without it!

Bro, this is such an old Honda Acura problem it is posted all over the internet, car wont start when its hot outside, must leave your door open for 10 to 15 minutes to get car to start in the hot season, engine dies on highway but engine starts with easy start spray. Main relay has 2 relays, one for the PCM and injectors and another for the fuel pump, typically the fuel pump relay is the bad portion. Next you dont need to buy a new part, you only need to resolder the relay contacts and you will be good for another 1 plus years again so dont throw the old one, repair it and resell it if you still have it. If you think this one was hard to find, IT IS NOT, you should try to find the models where the relay is a different style, the upgraded version and it is hiding up next to the glovebox, try to replace that one with a screwdriver and a set of pliers, yours is a piece of cake, no need to upbolt the outer housing and bracket, 1 minute and done.

Brother i got the same car and i had to replace the engine for overheating it, everything went back to its place but im cant get it to start, it cranks and all but doesnt start, im not getting any pulse to the injectors and i was thinking its that relay, now.....i took it off and checked the solder in the circuit, it series fine but im running out of ideas what you think??

could this happens during the winter, I have an Acura TL 2002 200k miles and it is acting up, drove for 20 miles and it stalls completely dead, waited for a tow truck about an hour later it restarted again, battery, starter, and alternator good, last 2 weeks had it towed home and it restarted again

So I have a question is the first relay switch for the fuel pump if underneath the dash plus the main one or both of them located up under the dash or just one of them cuz I've changed one relay switch that was for the fuel pump that was right I was literally up on her dash as he's just pulled right out is there a second one up under the dash for the fuel pump on a 2001 Acura MDX where is the second relay switch located

The main relay has 2 relays inside, one is for the fuel pump and the other is for the injectors and PCM, normally the fuel pump side is the problem on hot days, must let the hot air out by opening windows and doors but most folks dont put this picture together, why does my engine start after all the hot air escapes from the cabin.

Man, that’s the EXACT problem I am having. Normally when I hear a whine around my trunk, it would start. But now even with the whine it won’t. So I think I need that relay AND a fuel pump. But that just seems like a lot of unnecessary shit to go thru. But it beats the hell outta walking!

paul albarran last week i was driving and the engine cut off. Nothing else just the engine. When i try to start it it sounds like it’s out of gas. I wait a few minutes it starts again. It happened 3 other times on the way home. I take it to Acura and they find nothing. I drive home from Acura no stalling. I’m really confused now.
