2001 Acura MDX main relay problem not starter.

2001 honda MDX
main relay problem customer was told starter but replaced the main relay and jumped the starter with a hot 12v wire and it started.. so since honda over 100k are known to have bad main relay because of age and wear and tear..
shop ready to get her for a new starter.. nope she dont tech shop over the last thing to her jeep. in my other video still waiting to be uploaded.. car came with code and one lead to two or three more codes.. so in the other video I removed the thermostat and it cleared the rich and below threshold codes.. 25usd part vs the 800 charge to clear the problem up on one quote and still got everything wrong.. I a mobile simi and airplane tech and family call me when they getting ripped of.
I told her a donor car can help before you go new for something you don't know you keep.
who ever owned this or the dealership removed the check motor light build out.. key to the door lock system not programmed.. and this will be on a other video also what I mine but the door locks..
I hope this help ppl.. starter only start the car will not make it go dead unless a short.. that happen when on start up.. make sure with a 12volt power to the key side of the starter and if crank ok very then u know it main relay.. simple test and skill level a three..
as far as the thermostat 10mm bolt and the bottom coolant line remove and you can replace the broken open thermostat.. dont need to remove anything but remove the air inlet tube and open more space.. dont forget to drain the coolant first.. dont let it spill all over the floor.. .

Part was from a donor car.. Not new but used part local store didn't have it.
