Kordell would be a mega star in today’s watered down runner QB days!! Back then he didn’t get benefits of help/rules like today’s players!! Imagine Lamar Jackson being in this game?! He would have been less effective bc Kordell could play WR, RB and even kick the ball too! What a talent and one of the top 10 greatest athletes in NFL History! Slash was awesome to watch!!

Gosh, if it weren’t for Spygate this is probably the 2001 Super Bowl winner. This PGH defense woulda had the Rams in a washing machine. And then Hines, Plax, Bettis and Stewart woulda been hard to stop on turf.

I’m a huge Steelers fan and they lost because Cowher refused to acknowledge what everyone else with eyes knew which was that the special teams sucked. Should of fired the special teams coach, and cut Kris Brown months prior… it was the weak link of the team and it cost them 14 pts in a 7 pt loss. Fuck the cameras, the special teams killed the season.

This teams still irritates me 😂 13-3 great Defense, talented offense but a special Ed specials team unit… the coach, kicker, coverage, all terrible. How Brown was never cut, I do not understand, guy missed almost 20 kicks… that’s insane!!! This failure and a Tommy Maddox failed experiment lead to 18 great years with Ben but still… this team could have won a Super Bowl, pisses me off.

I agree, by gosh Hines Ward and Plaxico Burress on their prime, a very capable back and a all-world defense. How they achieve nothing is beyond comprehension. Kordell and Brown and special teams in general just did not cut it.
