Here we are with Part 2 of my 2001 Audi S4 build! In this episode we install some fresh parts in order to get one step closer to getting my check engine light off! Originally this video was going to contain the Cam Shaft Positioning sensor install, but there will be a separate video (Part 3) for that! Thanks for watching!

To eliminte the light if there is a brak somewhere in the lines elsewhere, behind the cluster, jump T32(blue) connector pin 2 (Brown/Green wire) to ground.

The Audi Garage I did hat on my a6! Works like a charm.... however make sure you get the wiring diagram for your specific vehicle and don’t cut the wrong wire. Then just wrong wire to raw metal behind cluster

The problem usually is in the wiring from the pad sensor connector on the wheel to the connector just inside the firewall. Follow the wires from the spindle up to the firewall just above the wheel. Pull the rubber grommet loose, genteelly pull the wires out and you will have two connectors. One is for the ABS sensor and the one you want is the two wire pad sensor. I do not remember the colors but you can check that at the pad connector end. Basically you need to connect these two wires together at that connector. I used a small gauge wire slipped into the connector and then reconnected both connectors thereby keeping the jumper in place. Otherwise you have to buy the harness. Perhaps those blocker will fit the connector inside the firewall too. If so just plug them in there. Did mine 6 years ago and still working now. Good luck, nice video.

Hey buddy keep up the good content, glad to see your S4 coming along. Who do you use for alignment in NEPA? Also, are you sure you don't have to clear service interval data for the pads? VCDS cable can do that for you. I feel like pad wear would fall under the same category.

Thank you! For simple things like an alignment I will just go to PepBoys. I believe they use the lasers to make sure everything is perfect.

Ok cool, just these cars are a little odd how the front end is adjusted and all, was curious if you used a Euro shop.

I never needed an alignment yet for my S4 luckily... I want to say PepBoys can do it even though our cars are a little more complicated, but I'm not 100% sure on that. (The Euro Shop I use for serious repairs is "IansSpeedShop". I don't believe he does alignments though..). I would call PepBoys and see! If you have any other questions let me know!

I've heard of Ian's didn't know he was still around. The only shop I know around here is Eurotec and they are more Saab focused. But hey maybe I'll see ya around, you see a Cactus Green S4 in the Wilkes Barre area give me a wave man!
