Hey Matt this is pink girl I have a 2004 Rodeo Isuzu and I've had to replace the catalytic converters on it both of them fuel filter fixing the front door on the passenger side everything so you're very helpful keep bringing the videos pink girl out

Dear Matt. Thank you for great tutorial. I would ask that what is the specific name of threated fitting of manometer. I have a manometrer kit to measure cylinder pressure but it does not includes fitting for fuel rail hose. Thanks

Another great tutorial on how to measure fuel pressure and rule out either bad fuel pump, a bad fuel pressure regulator, and dirty, clogged fuel filter!! Matt, do you have any tutorial on what causes '98 to '02 rodeo/passport to crank over after 6 to 10, instead of 2 to 3 seconds, the norm?

There is a larger fuse on the left which says fuel pump distinctly shown on fuse cover top. If that is bad, would it interfere with the engine to run?

The manifold plastic cover is held by 4 studs, not 2.

Main one is on wall it looks like a hose reel with a pipe vaccum should only need to replace it if your hesitates or flow angles when slow other ones r self duty if yours stops it that part mines front yours could be rear side front ? A vaccum leak is with fuel pump in the video it mite help some

Your fuel pump make be failing and the fuel pressure is low, Spec is 48-55 psi. You can go to AUtozone or O'Reilly's to "rent" a fuel pressure guage or buy one at Harbor Freight for about $30

It is oxygen sensor or circut type fuse or relay circut it check clears on obd so it stays off in engine s crank then runs on ignition if it doesn't clear the code should be p1741 is the mixture rich or lean or just dirty hope helps out I think code could mean oxygen sensor I did the obd codes but replace a few hoses and a cooler hose to see if I get code later it was the cooler hose from radiator cap and air or water dual hose think 6 mil and then should find if it fuel issue code or mixture an age thing good luck

These engines are very sensitive to a dirty fuel filter. I have to change mine every year. Another problem is plugged cats from all the oil burning. Drop them and rinse with lacquer thinner. Much cheaper than replacing.

How did you determine that this vehicles have a very sensitive fuel system that if fuel filter is plugged up or partially plugged up it effects how engine runs?

Engine starting kicking and bucking while going down the highway.

I put the tester on it from autozone their loaner and its not showing pressure

Cool it will be GD to know if filter helped if don't use much it should fix your check , have done it and none fuel pressure it come with a perferrated fuel line like balance after all it's flow it is a small choice to accept if it can be done and like that this does do a check the filter however is time consuming and is done like it then run then pull out no try to drop pressure as it is flow that fuel gets back to injecter old cars all seem to be done in 400 KLM safety GD video
