@williamprocope96488 жыл бұрын
I will be honest, yes it is fun to drive. I have a 98 GS 300. you have to understand how to utilize the car to make it fun. yes it is not a BMW but you still get the sportiness in the car. It is not a manual car but when you take the hills, it is fun to play with the gears especially in 3rd and 4th gear the way it holds. The cost of maintaining the car is not bad either. If you do want to tighten up the steering like a BMW, install a sway bar.
@1970borntorun8 жыл бұрын
William Procope "Fun" is relative. If you grew up driving Alfa's, BMW, Porsche and Audi as I did, these are almost as boring as a Volvo. If you came from a Camry or Taurus, then i guess these would seem sporty.

Thanks for advice. My last car was a Is first Gen as my daily driver. It was the IS200 tho.with a 2.0 straight 6. I apsolutey loved it but sold it before emigrating to the USA. I was initially thinking to get another IS first Gen but always craved more power but didn't like tbe LS due to it's not sporty characteristics so a GS was.naturally always in mind for my next Lexus. The 400 seems like a awesome cars anyway and although you say rare I see a fair few for sale at any one time in north bay, CA. But I'm willing to wait for a good well looked after example
