I have both a C320 and an E320. The C320 is way faster. Definitely no slouch.

I drag raced my C320. Ran a very consistent 15.63 @ 91 MPH. Great for bracket racing.

Ahhh I do miss my c320. We had regular maintenance on it but it just died. The oil light never came on once when it started leaking during a road trip. Engine started knocking. Later in life (it had a slight knock for 3 years) the fuel pump failed and we replaced it but then the trans started slipping, a few months later the engine started failing and then we sold it and herd the block cracked. I drive a C320 as my backup car to my BMW and I bought mine with 40,000 miles. After about 1,500 miles the transmission blew and a recurring issue where the electrical wiring for the brakes keep shorting. Not a slouch of a car and super comfortable but the reliability is something that is to be desired

@@charlesphiliparthurgeorgep4653 I can’t say it’s any better in the past 2 years. I still have transmission issues. I don’t know how much neglect a low mile, garage kept grandma car could be to manifest those problems

@@Dashi18n The earlier models are not as reliable as the final few years of production, which could explain electrical issues with the car itself... but the drivetrain is VERY unlikely to give you major problems. You likely have the common conductor plate issue regarding the transmission. It’s extremely common and very easy to fix. Mechanical faults with either that engine or transmission are very rare.. issues are almost always electrical. The symptoms often make problems seem worse than they are, as conductor plate failure could prevent the transmission from operating at all. When everything is fixed and operating properly, it will be a more reliable car than your BMW, without a doubt. You need to start doing some research.

@@charlesphiliparthurgeorgep4653 722.6 5g transmission differs a lot. For example c320 has one with torque limit just a bit higher than the engine produce. So if you drive flatout- it will die. The same car diesel for example can have 700nm limit transmission with engine produce the same 300nm torque as c320 and it will last forever. So- it depends. Good news are, that s320 and e320 were very very popular, so you can have a great second hand transmission for 300$ almost everywhere across the world.

Yes the C320s are very fast .. my c240 is so slow, one of the slowest benzs they made after 1980 😒

No it isn't, it's a V6. They also made non turbo straight 4's.

I had a 2003 C240, With a malfunctioning Crankshaft Position Sensor which made it slower than it already was. Pretty underwhelming to say the least.

The C320 had a 3.2 liter V6 with 2 spark plugs per cylinder. The c240 had a smaller engine
